Beaucoup de charme et un service aux petits soins
Pros:

Nous y avons séjourné 3 nuits.
Équipe très accueillante et prévenante.
Très joli bâtiment où s’effectue l’enregistrement, de jolis salons et une belle salle de restauration.
Petite piscine bien orientée agréable.
Immeuble de 10 étages attenant qui comprend les chambres. Elles sont élégantes.
Très grand lit avec excellente literie.
Nous avions demandé une chambre en angle en étage élevé; on nous a octroyé une chambre en angle au 9 étage, what else !

Le petit déjeuner servi est excellent et sans limite de commande, pour tous les goûts et appétits.
Le centre historique est à moins de 15’ à pieds, nous avons fait nos 2 jours de visite à pied. Le canal est en bas de l’hôtel qui lui est en face de la villa Sentosa.

Cons:

L’inconvénient des chambres communicantes …et c’est le défaut de l’hôtel plus globalement c’est l’isolation des chambres.

Het zwembad en haar omgeving was wat smoezelig. We hebben niet gezwommen. Maar dat kwam meer omdat we geen tijd hadden.

Expérience décevante pour un 5 étoiles 🌟
Pros:

L'histoire du site.
La proximité avec une partie de la ville que nous n'aurions pas visité si nous n'avions pas dormi dans cet hôtel.
La qualité du mobilier dans la chambre, la salle de bain et la propreté du lieu.

Cons:

L'éloignement du centre. A savoir qu'il faut marcher 1km pour être dans le cœur de la ville.
La manque d'âme de l'hôtel, je ne me suis pas sentie accueillie comme dans un hôtel 5 étoiles.
La piscine encastrée entre 4 murs, on se demande d'ailleurs ce qu'elle fait là ?!? Le lieu (de passage) ne donne pas envie de se baigner.
La fait que les chambres se trouvent dans une construction neuve derrière le site historique.
Le manque de personnalisation dans sa globalité (arrivée, départ, petit déjeuner...)
Parties communes très petites et gros manque d'espaces extérieurs.
Mauvaise insonorisation des chambres.

It's time for the property to refurbish. It is now a bit dated. The bathtub was cracked and leaked in the unit i was assigned to.

Pros:

The service rendered was excellent. Would like to highlight Mr Greg who was at the front desk when we checked in. He delivered such a wonderful service. He brought us to the room and ensured we settled in. Kudos to him. He is truly an assert to the hotel.

Pros:

We loved the rooms and the ambience. Had a wonderful and memorable stay here. Definitely will come back. The staff overall were all friendly.

Cons:

The Breakfast wasn't a spread instead it was ordering from the menu. Was a little disappointing as it was the buffet concept. One of the room was slightly warmer than usual. but was manageable.

A beautiful, calm heritage oasis in centre of Melaka
Pros:

A luxury oasis in the heart of Malacca. Easy walk to heritage centre but removed enough to be calm and quiet. The staff are all very friendly and super helpful. The trip to market and cooking class with chef well worth the money.
