Our high floor river facing rooms were scenic day & night. Ala carte buffet breakfast offered a good selection of authentic local delicacies and western delights. Location was great, just a short stroll to Jonker and the popular riverside cafes. Overall, a relax & joyful retreat for the family!

Struttura eccezionale e lo si respira dal momento in cui varchi il cancello, ti senti la protagonista di una storia prestigiosa ed antica, cortesia e gentilezza incredibili sia quando entri che quando esci, é un posto di classe. La camera é bellissima ho apprezzato tutte le rifiniture, il bagno stupendo. Ho apprezzato anche l'ampiezza della camera che per due persone con letti singoli era perfetta, con affaccio alto sulla cittadina l'ho trovato meraviglioso. Ne ho respirato la percezione storica e il restauro. Ristorante con personale super cortese e professionale di grandissima classe. E' una struttura che si distingue perché ti senti in un micro cosmo estremamente elegante e lontano dal contesto che lo circonda. Consiglio vivamente

The room is spacious and beautiful. The staff were friendly and very professional.

Cons:

The restaurant and food are just okay and does not match the hotel level. Tried to order the breakfast at the restaurant but they were disappointing. The bakery and fruits were not fresh. While the restaurant offers different breakfast options, none of them is really good. A little disappointing. Also tried the Malaysian SPA, which was just okay. Not very impressive.

So so stay. Could be better if there is easy access to the restaurant by lifts.

Cons:

We are old people in the eighties. The hotel is not old people friendly - No lift access to the restaurant which is located at the first floor of the old heritage building - my wife could not walk up the high stairs for dinner and they could not bring the food down to the Library because they were busy with a function. Also the wheelchair lift to the lift lobby had broken down - hence we had to up up the steps to the lift lobby (these limitations are NOT clearly stated to potential customers)

Great Hotel !
Pros:

L'emplacement, le décor de la chambre et de l'hôtel en général

Cons:

Peu de prises dans les chambres et la caution n'est restituée qu'après deux semaines ce qui esy particulièrement long
