Was practically begging me for a good review and after my standards were completely not met, he was playing with my reservation. One moment he tells me I won't have to cover the hotel, then he changes his mind.
I brought a friend inside and they went crazy. No respect. I'm a grown man.
Every time I stepped out, I got lost, part in my fault cause i
Couldnt even utilize the penthouse properly. Than I check my phone in the middle of the night and it said reservation cancelled, whilst I was there. He then called the police in the morning and walked in on me showering. This treatment, I've never seen.
I had to be escorted by the police in the morning.. irony is, they told me that theres no trouble here and they want to assure my safety as I am a tourist.
Completely ridiculous.
He blocks me, then unlocks me to tell to pay something additional.. I had to reach out to my bank because he continues to attempt to charge my, which at this point become stealing
I paid for this res.
He should never cancelled it.
He now has no right to charge me. Not to mention, this experience is not one that's is owed a payment.
He refuses to hand me back my prescription eye glasses, which is illegal in many places...
He mentioned some very racist comments as well which was probably just an angry reaction. I am Arab-American, part Palestinian man.
They made my guests feel like they were prostitutes.
The place is packed with lube a condoms and other sexual things. It's practically a sex house.
Not to mention I booked for two, leaving the other person open because they wouldn't respond to me in time. My vacation was ruined and this European man should not be a representative of the Costa rica people or how they do business.

Fabulous location and property with impeccable customer service.
Pros:

Fantastic location and panoramic view of the beach, ocean, and Costa Rica shoreline. Amazing property with very high-end features, furnishings, kitchen, electronics, and patio. Wonderful customer service. The property manager (Francis) responded quickly to questions. Even the property owner called from overseas to make sure we had everything we needed.

This is not a hotel
Pros:

The room was nice a hotel like room

Cons:

This was a room at someone's apartment while the publication said it was a hotel, this was not a hotel and most photos are from the apartments, the actual room did not have ocean view.
I paid for late check out to exit a 12 mid day but was called by security to park my car In the street outside the apartments complex.

Perfect location and awesome stay!
Pros:

All the amenities available in the room. The place was amazing, the staff communicated promptly and very secure.

Cons:

My only suggestion is the bed could be more comfortable but it didn’t overshadow our stay
