Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat uns bei Fragen hilfreich weitergeholfen! Das Hotel selber ist sehr schön und sauber und der Pool ist auch Top. Lecker war auch das Frühstück!

Great few days in Fort Kochi
Pros:

Good choices at breakfast.
Comfortable bed.
Plenty of space including balcony
Best of all, the staff could not do enough to help, very friendly, always welcoming and assisting especially Samuvel and Arun

Cons:

If we must find something, it was a little noisy from neighbouring properties, no fault of the hotel. Would not put us off going back.

Eighth Bastian is a terrible hotel — poor guest relations and management.
Cons:

The hotel has very poor staff manning the reception and no onsite electrician who can sort out electrical malfunctions during the night. I woke up close to midnight because the electricity was going on and off. The reception manager initially said I hadn't inserted the room key into the socket that turns on the electricity in the room! It took another hour and many, many phone calls to the reception desk before they moved me to another room at 1:45 am. I'm amazed it took them almost 2 hours to figure out that they couldn't restore continuous power to my room and only thereafter offered to move me to another room. I had to pack my belongings in pitch darkness and move to a room filled with mosquitos! It was a night of horrors with little help or concern from the staff. Pathetic experience.

Perfect getaway for a laid back town.
Pros:

Excellent hospitality & the team was very helpful. The team has taken efforts to provide complimentary activities for guests which I personally liked.

Cons:

Unfortunately due to it’s size, there were not many amenities.
