The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, the showers were amazing. The staff was so kind, friendly and always had a smile on their faces.
L’hôtel est charmant, décoré avec goût, simplicité et élégance, sans ostentation, avec des matériaux de qualité. Il est de surcroît extrêmement bien entretenu jusque dans les moindres détail par un personnel très professionnel.
Il est bien placé, proche du centre de Fort Kochi, et en même temps à bonne distance des endroits bruyants et animés.
Grande chambre avec un beau balcon dont nous n’avons malheureusement pas profité à cause de la chaleur extérieure. Tout le matériel pour se faire un thé ou un café. salle de bain ravissante et bien équipée.
Petit déjeuner délicieux et varié
Les équipes sont aux petits soins envers les clients, que ce soit pour des conseils, trouver un taxi. Nous avons pu réaliser le checkout 2 heures plus tard que prévu à cause de notre avion
Enfin, nous avons apprécié les deux heures avec Hanif qui nous a emmené faire le tour de la ville en tuktuk , en s’arrêtant dans les endroits principaux pour les commenter, des lieux historiques aux laveurs de linge
Tout était parfait. Bon…. le prix est à la hauteur de la prestation…

Building and location
Breakfast doesn’t seem to be on the level of the hotel. It is not about quality but more about options and selection process

It’s a boutique property, quite well located within walkable distance from the major attractions of Fort Kochi. Staff are extremely courteous and helpful. Lovely breakfast. Dinner at their East Indies restaurant was good too.
Excelente hotel. Amplias habitaciones y muy buen trato del personal. Nos teniamos que ir a las 2,30 se la madrugada y nos ofrecieron un desayuno para llevar.
The staff were very accommodating nothing you wanted was to much trouble the rooms were very clean and comfortable facilities on site exceptionally good and in general you could not ask for more 5 star stay

The location of the property was excellent, and the breakfast was really good. The staff always went out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Bonus - its walking distance from the sea
It was a lovely stay, from the moment we arrived and were greeted with welcome drinks and cold towels (a blessing after 20 hours travelling!), the staff were so lovely and made our first days in Fort Kochi so nice! The facilities are great and the beds are comfy! Breakfast also really good.

Excellent stay at Eighth Bastion. The staff is absolutely lovely, attentive and thoughtful. They made my stay hassle-free. The rooms are spacious and the location is extremely convenient if you want to walk to most of the art galleries, streets and cafes. The 2-hour complimentary tuk-tuk tour is a nice perk and helps you place yourself in Fort Kochi very quickly. Highly recommend!
