Location and view
Nothing
Pool itself is amazing/ massive and the view is outstanding/magical. Usually a good rice and curry selection. Rooms are very spacious with amenities and fresh fruit basket. Very friendly staff in spa and reception, very helpful
Organising transport to Sigiriya. Spa treatments very relaxing and reasonably priced! Grounds are beautifully kept. Signature cocktails are delicious!
Not enough space for people to sit and enjoy the view. Especially at dinner time since dinner buffet doesn’t open till 7.30pm so everyone is like hungry sitting ducks, but if you are not sat say before 6.30pm there is no other space for guests to be other than their room? It’s a shame/ lack of utilisation of space. Same with pool area, could even put some more tables down below for people to sit. The Sri Lankan restaurant, nice service and atmosphere but very overpriced, and was too
Much food for just two people (& we are
Big Eaters) Can only hope it didn’t go to waste , not sure how well t’s working as a concept/ could be advertised more to offer an alternative to buffet. Rooms are very comfortable however unfortunately we had a bottom room
Near the start of the entrance so felt like we just couldn’t have our blinds up or everyone could see in. Thus, was quite dark. Also occasionally slow service with drinks both in buffet breakfast / dinner and at pool. The hotel has so
Much potential to really reach 5 * , but at times felt like 3* . Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka For the same price it didn’t quite have the same feeling of luxury/ seamless service/ use of facilities . Would definitely stay again though (mostly for the view alone)! I’m only being so critical because of the higher price.
Great location and hotel staff were very helpful.. great place to stay with amazing views.
Wildlife all around. Hotel arranged the Elephant Safari which was fantastic!
Ruhige Lage, grosszügiger Lobbybereich, superschöner Poolbereich, grösstenteils sehr nette Mitarbeitende, ideal gelegen für den Besuch verschiedener Sehenswürdigkeiten
Dunkle Zimmer, Restaurant ist ein Massenbetrieb - Kantinenfeeling kommt auf. Irgendwie ist der Funke nicht übergesprungen …
Bardzo dobre śniadanie i kolacje

The lobby and swimming pool
Location, too far to walk to the Center
Spa was male to male massage only. Some people may be fine but I was uncomfortable with it.
De mooie uitzichten en het immense zwembad
De geur in de badkamer en het eetgedeelte mag wat sfeervoller
We received excellent service from the staff at this beautiful location. Ishan and Sampath were especially attentive to our needs and ensured we had an excellent visit. They took excellent care of us and even took extra effort to provide what we needed when one of our group was sick. The food was excellent, the service was helpful and the setting is beautiful, making it an excellent place to experience the wonderful country. The Sri Lankan food experience here is excellent and an absolute must.
The pool was nice.
breakfast didn't have as much choice as I was used to coming from other hotels. The staff experience could have been way better for a 5* hotel. When we first checked in, they 'forgot' to give us a welcome drink. They never told us about the facilities in the resort. We were left to figure this out on our own. They are not forthcoming with information on the facilities and services. This hotel was also very commercialized with large groups of tourists checking in here from coaches etc. If you are looking for a more authentic experience which I was, then avoid this hotel as it is very westernised. I regret coming here and not having gone for a boutique and authentic option. The resort is also very secluded. To use facilites such as the sauna, there are extra charges or you have to have a massage which is absurd for a 5*. This should be included! We also had a few issues with housekeeping staff not cleaning rooms properly, but once I flagged this it was resolved immediately which is good. The AC was not working on 2 of the nights we stayed here out of 5.
God og flot pool, område og hovedbygning.
Der står "gym" men det er 3 stænger. Til pullups og dips.
Det er bedre end ingenting dog.
