Quirky convenient stopover - great breakfast. Lovely staff. Dog friendly.

Great location for us as a stop en route from Edinburgh to London. Free parking. Dog friendly. Lovely garden. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants. Staff exceptional. Breakfast very nice - an unusual presentation - just go with it.

En suite shower very cramped but for one night not a problem.

Truly lovely atmosphere, possibly the best breakfast ever.
Pros:

The rooms are in a very old building so a few elements are not perfect, as you might get in a modern setting, but this is made up for with lots of lovely touches, delightful staff and superb food offering, both at breakfast and the evening tasting menu

A very comfortable stay with attentive staff in the middle of town close to the beautiful cathedral.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good quality. We had the continental choice and enjoyed it very much.

Having just bought an electric car, the availability of charging facilities in a nearby car park was great!
