Pros:

Lovely clean room with comfortable bed! The staff at reception were great. Very friendly and helpful! Nice indoor pool area

Cons:

The staff at the bar and restaurant were very busy and I appreciate that but no smiles and no acknowledgement is not the best to make you want to stay and enjoy this part of the hotel. So we didn't!

The grass was full of trash, and there were at least two cars with people sleeping in them!

The housekeeping staff is there rude and lied about cleaning my room I paid to much money for my room not to be clean and then my bathroom door was off track only polite staff was the ones I met at check out

worst hotel experience we’ve ever had.
Pros:

nothing. we didn’t stay. immediately checked out and had to find somewhere else to stay.

Cons:

Everything. got out of the car to witness a man receiving a blow job by the door we needed to walk in to get to our room. we had our small children with us. the room itself matches the vibes you get when you realize there’s a gentleman’s club next door. whole place feels like a brothel.

When in the area again - and we will be - we will most likely visit Hotel Lex for our stay.
Pros:

Staff was VERY friendly and helpful - both the front desk staff and the cleaning team (especially the cleaning team!) They always greeted me with a smile and friendly conversation. When a group of guests in the adjacent room got loud and angry (fighting), the gentleman (manager) did a wonderful job controlling the guests and asking them to leave, without incident. I was very impressed by his skill and concern for them as well as all other guests.
The onsite restaurant (Barrel 53) was excellent - hidden gem. The chef introduced himself and was wonderful. The meals, prepared from scratch exceeded expectations. The bartenders and wait staff were attentive and friendly. This was very unexpected and wonderful.

Cons:

Breakfast was adequate but not exceptional. Same selection (with no variations) each of the three days we were there. Seating was not large enough to accommodate all diners on Saturday. Lounge chair in the room was sturdy but cheap cushions. Not enough lighting in the room to read at night.
