The Gather Inn Baguio - Burnham Park

We had a terrible stay.

1. The policy stated a 2:00 PM check-in and 12:00 NN checkout. However, when we arrived, we were informed that check-in would actually be at 3:00 PM and checkout at 11:00 AM. We chose not to argue and simply complied, but it was already an inconvenience from the start.
2. Their parking arrangement is highly inconvenient. Cars are parked in a single straight line together with crew and guest vehicles, which means if a car behind yours needs to leave, you are required to move your vehicle. To avoid hassle, I think guests should at least be informed beforehand that leaving car keys with the lobby may be necessary so staff can move vehicles when needed. We would have understood had this been clearly stated in the booking details or explained upon check-in, but it was never disclosed. What made matters worse was the staff repeatedly knocking on our door in a very disturbing manner whenever someone needed to get out. Eventually, we left the hotel and naturally brought our car keys with us since there was no instruction otherwise. While we were already out, the hotel repeatedly called us, insisting we return because the car behind ours supposedly needed to leave. We rushed back to the hotel, only to find out that the owner of that car had already left by taxi. Not once did the hotel courteously call us back to say that returning was no longer necessary.
3. There was also a water interruption during our stay, with no prior notice whatsoever. We were later told the water tank was being cleaned. If this was routine maintenance, guests should have been properly informed in advance.
4. To make matters worse, the shower head appeared to have been merely glued in place with rugby or some adhesive. Once the hot water pressure increased, it came loose and broke off while in use. Thankfully, no one was injured.

Instead of a relaxing stay, the entire experience became unnecessarily stressful and disappointing.

Parking is very hard and inconvenient, the hotel has a lots of other patrons because apparently its also a coworking space.

The Room details also said the it has a bathtub, but upon arrival theres none.
Heater in the room is malfunctioning, either is too hot or has no heat at all.

The walls are paperthin, so you can hear other patrons.

Tha noise of other people outside in our room and the cigarettes smoke in our comfort room .

The creaking sound of footsteps since the ground floor is wood

The flush of our toilet was not working and our friends found a tick crawling in the wall in their room.

Cleaning needs improvement.
The staff looked annoyed at us all the time

Nice student vibe, but be prepared for all night study sessions in the common areas. Our ear plugs avoided disruption however. Shower pressure was low and a constant battle between hot and cold

The room lacked a television, but the bigger issue was the noise. The wooden floors above us offered no soundproofing; we were kept awake until 1 AM by a toddler running around on the floor directly overhead.

Need good blanket at night to stay warm

Water heater is not working properly and the noise can be heard inside the room.
