Pros:

Вкусные завтраки, хорошее расположение с красивым видом. Удобная кровать, чистота в номере, ежедневная уборка, кондиционер поддерживал постоянную температуру, наличие горячей воды, красивая территория.

Pleasant hotel, friendly staff – and close to town and not too far from Galle.
Pros:

Enormous room (definitely choose the biggest rooms if possible) in a charming hotel.

Pleasant pool; small bar and restaurant.

Cons:

If were being harsh, it is (very slightly) tired these days.

Beautiful boutique stay by the sea
Pros:

My mother and I stayed at the Owl & The Pussycat for three nights and were totally blown away by this hotel.

It is absolutely beautiful - the decor of the whole place is stunning and is probably the nicest boutique hotel we have ever stayed in. The location is superb - right on the coast and you wake up to the sound of the waves every morning. The rooms are so quaintly decorated and the beds are enormous!

We stayed in one room for our first night but were very kindly moved to a sea view room by the manager for the other two nights. It was a lovely surprise as we didn’t request this! It really felt that the staff here went above and beyond for us. Every staff member working here was so helpful, friendly and warm.

Breakfast at the hotel was lovely - a little limited but we never mind this. We had lunch one day and dinner another and both times food and drink was delicious.

My mother had an early morning flight and the management made her a packed breakfast/ lunch which was a really lovely touch.

I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. It was a very special place to spend the last few days of our trip together and we would love to come back one day.

Cons:

Limited selection for breakfast and a few food items we had came our luke warm/ cold - only a minor issue.

A beautiful hotel with the most beautiful staff.. would definitely return.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good. There was fresh fruit and bread every day along with some curd and cereal and seeds. You could then order of the menu eggs anyway. There was avocado on the menu but not every day was
It available. There were also pancakes that were very good! The home made marmalade was a favourite also.
The hotel was in a great location and could easily access other attraction by Tuk Tuk which were very reasonable and easily accessible outside the hotel. The beaches were beautiful and there was a lovely walk (a little rocky ) all the way to turtle beach passing frog rock on the way.. Mirissa beach was around 30 mins in a Tuk Tuk and is definitely worth a visit and Coconut island is a
Must for the views. We went whale watching but sadly didn’t see any Whales but did see lots of dolphins which was lovely

Cons:

My only complaint was the sun beds were not very comfy as they didn’t have cushions but there were lots of lovely sofas around that we were able sit on which made up for it.

Excellent location, with the best team! Rooms were large and well appointed.

Cons:

The food definitely needs improvement. Breakfast was simple but nice. Would’ve been excellent if Sri Lankan breakfast was available without pre ordering. Unfortunately the rest of the offerings are not worth eating at the hotel with plenty of significantly better options within walking distance. The team with their hospitality more than make up for the lack of flavour in the food lol

Picturesque property with lovely staff
Pros:

Lovely picturesque property. We stayed in Suite Dreams - an one-bedroom apartment styled room with a living room, kitchenette and balcony. Friendly staff from Nihal and Nianie at reception to the fabulous mixologist to the operations team... Great a la carte dining.

Cons:

Wish their breakfast was heartier (sets the tone for the day, I say 😄) - we could pre-order Sri Lankan options. If they had a set breakfast menu with some variety that was made to order, that might mitigate waste when there aren't many guests. Additionally some bossy woman who appeared to be management and there during 1 night was unpleasant in her demeanour with staff. Also wish there was a TV in the room for those lazy days.

Thin walls without soundproof, sliding doors between rooms. Scammers in the bar and restaurant. Keep in mind they are adding 34% feet to your bill. In our case, they added 120% feet to our bill. Just “accidentally”. Few times.

Paraíso frente al mar
Pros:

El mejor hotel en el que nos alojamos durante nuestra estancia en el país. El desayuno y las zonas comunes son un lujo. Las habitaciones cómodas y espaciosas. Ampliamos nuestra estancia 3 noches más.

Pros:

The location is amazing near Dalawella beach. The views are amazing right on the beach. The staff was amazing and very attentive to all requests and the food was also excellent! Overall loved my stay

Cons:

There was no phone service coming through in the room and one of the window panes fell off in the bathroom but was fixed the next day.
