I have reserved the room on Booking.com trust, and long association with booking.com, however they have cancelled my booking 2-3 days before my arrival, as the reception staff told me. I have reached the hotel at around 11:30 am and there was some arguments in reservation, which was unprofessional. Later after struggle they allotted me a room which was not so good. Further, they demanded me to pay additional INR 500 for the child, this was mis-comittement. I have done the reservation for 1 adult and 1 Child (17 yrs), then why they were asking for additional charges. After struggle and discussion with Manager, I check-in, but my mood was spoiled and I was also late. So, the trust on booking.com and this hotel is weakening. Later in the evening they offered me to change the room, which was a good gesture, but I didn't. Hopefully they will be more committed in future and will take car of their customers convenience.
