Pros:

Hotel coconing avec plage privée où est servi le petit déjeuner les pieds dans le sable, le paradis. Le soir une vue incroyable sur le sunset. Un peu loin du centre, 10min à pieds. Literie très confortable. Privilégier les chambres en étage. Piscine plutôt petite mais agréable. Personnel adorable et aux petits soins. Bouteille d’eau dans la chambre et bombonne d’eau en libre service.

Cons:

Wifi très compliqué. Pas de pommeau de douche flexible. Porte de chambre en bois pas du tout insonorisée.

Globalement bien mais mauvais rapport qualité-prix
Pros:

L'hotel est assez joli, la chambre est très spacieuse et bien décorée (bien qu'assez sombre). Grande douche et salle de bain confortable. Grand balcon très agréable.
L'emplacement est assez loin du centre de Holbox (15 min à pied) mais le quartier est donc très calme.
Petite piscine et cour intérieure charmante.

Cons:

Nettoyage des environs très pollué (chemin d'accès et pourtours de l'hotel)
Nettoyage et remplacement des draps et essuies pas effectué une seule fois durant notre séjour malgré notre demande
Eau chaude en faible quantité
Plage privée très décevante : peu aménagée et très petite
Chantier et travaux juste en face

Charmant Boutique hotelletje direct aan zee op ongeveer een kilometer van het centrum. Mooie ruime kamers en aardig personeel

Rondom het hotel werd er gebouwd en was er veel rotzooi.

A lovely beachfront hotel, ideal for a relaxing honeymoon stay.
Pros:

An excellent start to our honeymoon. We were welcomed with lovely decorations on the bed, which was a very thoughtful touch. Breakfast was included and featured local options, fresh fruit, and was something we really enjoyed. The hotel is located directly on the beach, which was a highlight. The room was beautiful, modern, and had a gorgeous ocean view. The bed was very comfortable, and the spacious shower had hot water — a real rarity during our Yucatán trip. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good, not only for breakfast. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially with arranging taxi transfers.

Cons:

The fan in the room was quite loud, although we managed well with earplugs. The restaurant closes fairly early, after lunch service. The property is located in an area of the island that is still under construction and a bit outside the town centre, with many potholes on the road — this didn’t bother us but is useful to know.

Premetto che purtroppo non abbiamo potuto godere appieno della bellezza di questo luogo perché siamo arrivati con una tempesta che è durata per tutta la nostra permanenza, ma nonostante ciò è innegabile che si tratti di un paradiso. La camera è spaziosa e pulita. La colazione ha un'ottima scelta: dopo 10 giorni di uova, finalmente abbiamo trovato un albergo che desse un'alternativa! Senza contare che è servita sulla spiaggia. I ragazzi del chiringuito sono molto cortesi.

Cons:

Se non amate passeggiare, la posizione potrebbe risultare scomoda. Per noi non è stato un problema.
Suggerimento: viste le dimensioni della camera, si potrebbe pensare ad un letto matrimoniale di dimensioni maggiori. Il nostro era un letto matrimoniale alla francese.

Beautiful place for sunset, big rooms
Pros:

Beautiful location to view sunset, quiet for beach and great breakfast. Staff were lovely. rooms had high ceilings and were nicely finished.

Cons:

The location is a little out of the way and there are no lights on the walk back from town so be wary especially if a lone traveller.

My toilet didn’t work on my last morning which was somewhat frustrating and I also had issues with my aircon leaking but the staff really quickly fixed the issues once raised.

Puerta Azul is a beautiful comfortable stunningly designed hotel. It has its own beach which is a huge advantage in Holbox and a beautiful plunge pool set in a lovely courtyard with hammocks. It’s been very well planned and designed. Our room on the ground floor was spacious with excellent amenities. The staff in reception were all incredibly nice and helpful in particular Luis always smiling and eager to look after your needs. I highly recommend it . And the beach isn’t as busy as the main beaches in Holbox.

Cons:

The breakfast. We asked for it to be complementary which they agreed as we stayed seven nights but I ate there only twice. It really was basic and not what a hotel on that level and price should offer. There are plenty of nice places to eat in Holbox but eating breakfast on the beach would have been appreciated

Attention avec les valises, l'hôtel est à une trentaine de minutes du ferry c'est compliqué de marcher avec les valises dans le sable à certains endroits surtout en cas de forte pluie avant, possibilité de taxi....

Très belle expérience sur cette magnifique île d'Holbox.

Cons:

Un peu loin du centre bien que tout peut se faire à pied.
La connexion internet et les lits un peu trop durs a notre goût sont les éléments moins appréciés.
