The room was stunning. It was big, clean, and comfortable. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The room had a bathtub inside and a second one on the balcony which was really nice to use when you want a break from the sun but still want to be by the sea. The breakfast was amazing each morning. The hotel gets a beautiful view of the sunset each day.
There wasn’t really a gym. There were some concrete weights in a corner of the beach and it wasn’t really suitable for a workout.
The location is nice but it’s not the nicest part of the beach. You want to be closer to Punta Mosquito for the really lovely beach.

Le petit déjeuner n’est pas inclus (on le savait) mais il faut compter 25€ à 30€ par personne en plus, ce qui est un budget supplémentaire.
Il y a beaucoup de musique la journée et le soir. Notre chambre était situé sous le rooftop. Des bouchons d’oreilles ont été nécessaires.
Nous avons fait 2 hôtels à Holbox. Le calme sans musique, nous n’avons pas trouvé …
The rooms, though a little small, are really comfortable and boutique. The staff were amazing too, super helpful - perhaps the most of anyone on our trip. It's a beautiful space, with direct access to the sea, and a really nice pool.
There were a couple of issues during our stay, such as coffee not being available one morning, as well as a couple of other items from their menu. It's a really nice hotel that we 100% recommend, but a little overpriced and presents itself as a luxury but lacks that spark. The reason our grade isn't too high is in relation for what you get for the price, but it's still a really nice place to stay.

From start to finish, our experience at AWA Hotel Holbox was absolutely 5-star. The customer service was exceptional — the team genuinely could not do enough for you. No ask was ever too big, and everything was handled with warmth, ease, and professionalism.
The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning rooms and breathtaking views from our villa. Waking up each day to that view felt like a dream. The morning yoga classes were such a special touch and the perfect way to start the day in paradise. I also loved my morning runs around the island — such a special way to take in the beauty of Holbox.
The location is ideal too — just a 15-minute walk into town, where there are so many great restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
A little shout out to Diego, who made our stay that little extra special — thank you so much for the beautiful flowers in our room. Such a thoughtful touch.
The hotel truly made our stay on the island unforgettable, and we are already missing it so much. I couldn’t recommend AWA Hotel highly enough — a truly wonderful stay from beginning to end.
There was some construction next to our villa so view to one side wasn’t appealing. Would have been nice to have something outside your door to clean your sandy feet before entering your room.

🚨 The beach is almost non existent and the pictures are far away from reality.
🚨 The hotel is poorly maintained in many places
🚨 The rooms are poorly lighted, far away from what you see in the pictures and the walls are thin like paper. You will hear everything!
🚨 You have no privacy on the roof, if you book a presidential room. Anyone can walk by.
In my opinion it is not worth your money. The best thing you can do is go to better hotels like Nomad or Ana y José
