This wonderful hotel is immaculately clean with high quality facilities including a natural freshwater pool and a swimming pool.

The staff truly can’t do enough to help. Service is excellent, and the team are always on hand to organise excursions such as walks in nature, and taxis, making it easy to get to and from this idilic rural location.

The food was outstanding. The rice and curry came with a tasty selection of accompaniments including potatoes, green beans, poppadums, dhal, and banana flower. Simply wow.

Wildlife is abundant. We spotted a white-throated kingfisher, a mongoose, and of course World’s End’s most prized resident, a proud peacock strutting around the grounds.

Wat een prachtige locatie. Wij hadden een ruime kamer met uitzicht op het zwembad. Vanuit de mooie tuin kijk je uit over de rijstvelden. Er zijn zon en schaduwplekkrn. Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze regelden ook een dagtour voor ons. Het eten is elke keer een feest. Met liefde bereid, mooi opgediend en heerlijk van smaak. Wij hebben een extra nacht bijgeboekt omdat het hier zo mooi en relaxed is.

We had absolutely an amazing experience at World’s End Base Eco-Village. This place is located in the middle of the mountains, totally in the middle of nature. You can truly disconnect there, it felt almost like a retreat! On top of this, we got the best room we ever stayed in Sri Lanka. Very good conditions, very clean and an amazing view from the balcony. Lastly, the staff were absolutely 5 stars! The most welcoming and sweet staff. We will miss them ❤️

Friendly staff, good food, quiet relaxing location, great scenery

The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the food, especially, breakfast was excellent and the property and amenities are exactly as seen in the photos. Since I went during the non-tourist season and found myself to be the only guest, I was bracing myself for musty or stale smelling room but the rooms smelled fresh,

Even though I, a woman, was staying all alone in the property in what would seem like in the middle of nowhere, I felt safe and comfortable for the entire duration of my stay.

Mükemmel manzara , her şey fotograflarda göründüğünden çok daha güzel. Sabah erken kalkıp gün doğumunda yürüyüş yapın mutlaka. Çalışanlar çok iyi her şeyde yardımcı oldular. Yemekler de çok güzeldi. Özellikle sri lanka kahvaltısı harikaydı. Sri lankada yedigim en iyi kahvaltıydı açık ara. Restoran var aksam yemegi falan için de iyi.

Hotel sympa avec piscine situé au bout d’un chemin rural en pierre. On avait l’hôtel pour nous ! Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien équipées. Piscine super agréable. Possibilité de dinner. Bon petit dej. Bref, nous recommandons. Possibilité de rando dans le coin.

Surrounded by beautiful nature, amidst rice fields. In the middle of nowhere, very secluded and cared for accommodation. Ideal to relax.

Situé sur une route très intense mais l'endroit est magnifique !

We had a wonderful time, all rooms seem to have impressive views. Staff were super friendly and helpful:) We had a great time, walked to the waterfall, swam in the swimming pool and did nature spotting from our front porch:) thank you:)

This hotel is simply amazing. It's surrounded by rice fields, mountains, and even has a small waterfall flowing right through the resort – the whole place is stunning and full of peaceful energy.

We had a room right by the pool and the mini waterfall. Normally, my husband and I find it hard to really relax, but here we could truly unwind – lying in the hammock, floating in the pool, or just enjoying the view from the lounge.

The hotel team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond. They took us on a Jeep tour to explore the area and even arranged a private car with a driver for our onward journey. The food was absolutely delicious – we especially recommend the Sri Lankan breakfast!

A place to relax, recharge, and enjoy nature. Highly recommended!

Het is een prachtige plek. Een fijn en schoon zwembad, een klein riviertje, een volleybal of badminton veldje en een grote hangmat. Overal waar je kijkt is het uitzicht prachtig, op de bergen of de omliggende rijstvelden. Ook vanuit de kamers. Het personeel is vriendelijk (de Engelse taal zou wat beter kunnen) en de vrolijke chef-kok maakt lekker eten voor je klaar. Kortom, een hele fijne plek om te verblijven. Vooral als je rust zoekt is het echt een aanrader.

Superb location

Chef - we ate all our meals there and all of it was incredible. There were 8 of us and we LOVED every meal . Such care was taken with it all .so fresh .
