The front desk staff and especially Giang went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. From helpful travel tips to genuine hospitality, their kindness made the experience feel personal and warm.

The hotel is very well located, right in front of West Lake and close to many key attractions. The view of the lake from the room was beautiful and added a special touch to our stay. Being so close to sightseeing spots and local shops made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. The location felt both scenic and convenient.

The hotel restaurant offered a great variety of delicious food. We were especially impressed by the freshness of the ingredients and the diverse menu options. There were choices suitable for different tastes, including vegetarian dishes. Each meal was enjoyable and well prepared. Dining near the hotel was a highlight of our stay.

Room was exactly as advertised in the photos which can very much be hit-or-miss in Vietnam. While the property is beginning to show its age, it's maintained well and is kept clean enough. Service was excellent and I was check-in despite reception having issues with confirming my booking through Booking.com. They also honored the advertised price when I checked out despite the confusion. I was upgraded to a room with a view of the lake which was fabulous. I would recommend this property and stay here again when visiting Hanoi, especially if you want to avoid the noise and chaos of Old Quarter. While you could still hear traffic from the busy road below, the rooms were soundproofed quite well and I didn't need to wear earplugs. The mattresses were fairly hard which is the norm across Asia but I didn't have any issues sleeping on it.

Outside the room, there was access to a shared kitchen and a laundry area, which could be very convenient for longer stays. Although we didn’t personally use these facilities, it was good to know they were available. The common areas were clean and well organized. Having these options added extra value to the overall experience. It made the property feel practical and guest-friendly.

The hotel maintained a clean and tidy environment, both in the rooms and common areas. Housekeeping did a good job of keeping everything fresh and orderly. The atmosphere felt welcoming rather than overly formal. Even with the busy road nearby, the hotel itself felt calm enough to relax after a day out. It gave the impression of a well-managed and cared-for property.

Au moment de la réservation, nous n’avions pas d’attentes particulièrement élevées. Cependant, dès notre arrivée, le service nous a véritablement impressionnés. Le responsable et son équipe se sont montrés extrêmement réactifs et attentifs. Toutes nos questions et les moindres soucis ont été traités rapidement et avec un grand professionnalisme. Leur efficacité et leur amabilité nous ont permis de nous sentir parfaitement pris en charge tout au long de notre séjour.

Some in-room facilities felt slightly inconsistent. The television in the room was quite small, which was surprising considering the much larger screen in the hallway. There were not many power outlets available, but the staff quickly provided an extension cord when we asked. This small gesture made a noticeable difference and showed attention to guest needs. Overall, the essentials were covered, though a few upgrades would improve comfort.

The rooms were very spacious and impressively clean, which made our stay extremely comfortable. There was plenty of space to relax, move around, and store luggage without feeling cramped. The room was well presented and felt fresh upon arrival. Everything appeared well maintained and thoughtfully arranged.

非常差的一間飯店，一開始說12/31要維修房間要求我們去別的地方住，結果是把房間賣給別的住戶，後來就在跨年夜我們去住了一間非常爛的旅館，此飯店非常沒有誠信，飯店經理態度很差，要逼我們簽屬同意書，我們不願意就要求我們辦理退房，後續的幾天不能住也沒退款，害我們半夜在大雨之中去尋找旅館，真是此生最痛苦的住宿體驗
這間飯店老舊並且沒有誠信，是我此生住過最差的飯店，
大家來越南一定要小心不要住到這間飯店。
湖景房非常吵，而且玻璃很髒，內部老舊。

I chose this hotel mainly for the lake view, and it did not disappoint. Waking up to the calm water and the soft morning light was truly relaxing. Even though it’s only a 15-minute drive from the Old Quarter, it feels like a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle and bustle—a perfect balance for anyone who wants to enjoy Hanoi without the constant noise and traffic.

I loved that the hotel is just a short walk from some really good restaurants, which made exploring the area so easy. Waking up to the lake view every morning felt so calming, and the friendly staff made everything feel effortless and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you immediately feel at home, and I can’t wait to come back on my next trip.

Breakfast was a lovely surprise. There were plenty of choices, everything tasted fresh, and the staff even brought fruit and yogurt without us asking—a small gesture that made the whole experience feel thoughtful and attentive. For a last-minute booking, the morning service far exceeded what I expected.
