Staff and facilities
Have to wait outside the hotel no receptionists and try to call the manager nobody answer the phone.. people are waiting to check in outside the hotel, then found out that the room are doubled booking.
What a nightmare!
Have to wait for an hour to get the room ready.. no swipe card so you have to leave the door open cannot lock the door.
Common toilet and it’s filthy.
What a horrible experience…
Sorry cannot recommend this hotel at all!
Good location
The staff didn't know we were coming. Lucky they had a double room
the bed
the toilets
Nothing
The accommodation was atrocious as they did not have our booking sorted albeit I have the confirmation email. I will be taking this matter further for a full reimbursement immediately.
The owner runs the place like a family home he cares about all his guests he is easy to talk to the hotel is situated in a great spot walking distance to every thing you need.
If anything the bath rooms a little dated
Clean and tidy. But still under renovation:
The location is amazing.
It’s more like Hostel than Hotel.
Shared bathrooms and toilets, which i haven’t seen before.
I paid for breakfast as well but i only got some cereal milk and bread butter.
Location
We did not like that it was a boarding house for FIFO. Communal kitchen, no ensuite bathroom, shared facilities shower had a pile of hair in the base and drain grate. 1 toilet and 2 showers all with opaque glass doors. Security cameras everywhere made us feel uncomfortable. For the price it definitely did not meet the standards.
Mal was exceptional. My daughter was on her first solo trip and needed a place at short notice. He treated her like family.
Nothing
Best part of my stay was leaving. checked out early
Booked and paid in advance. they'd oversold the property. ended up in a share house first night with other people.
Luckily they had space second night and I got a 8sqm linen closet with a bed in it despite booking a "double room with a bathroom". Toilet was 60m away
The owner made it feel like my fault that he didn't have space. apparently I don't know mining towns so that's why I have to sleep in a closet.
Ive been travelling for work more than a decade. Never witnessed anything like it.
nothing
Owner was rude and used unpleasant words. Wanted me to stay in his clustered room after paying more than 250 dollars for a night.
On arrival we were told they had overbooked and we didn't get a room - which was not good as there was no other accommodation in town at all available.
Booking.com should of advised us
mice running around in the room!
