Great little hotel at the old center of Quito, safe neighborhood near museums, stores and magnificent churches. Excellent restaurant and breakfast. Very helpful staff. Rooms overlooking Quito hills

Excellent base for a stay in Quito.
Pros:

Room was large with an enormous bed. Bathroom large and very clean with nice toiletries and accessories. Restaurant food was very good. Location easy to walk to main sites in historic centre. Staff very helpful and pleasant.

Cons:

Nothing to dislike about the hotel. Other guests talking loudly outside the rooms is beyond the control of the hotel.

Great choice of hotel in Quito Old Town
Pros:

We stayed at the Casona for a total of 4 nights before and between tours to the Galapagos and the Amazon, and loved the hotel! It is a beautifully restored mansion with lovely ambiance and great murals on the interior walls and light wells. Everything about the hotel is excellent; the staff are great, the rooms are large and comfortable, breakfast is good with eggs cooked to order and a good range of fresh fruit and there is a lovely communal lounge area where you can help yourself to tea, coffee and cake. The location of the hotel is very convenient as all of the main sights of Quito’s Historic Center are within easy walking distance. An excellent hotel and great value!
