El Olivar Palace Marrakech All Inclusive, Aquapark & SPA

The last 2 days were terrible. We were about 20 foreign guests when 250 new guests arrived who took over the entire hotel, with the management's approval. The only drinks we were given was water and soda. We were not given any food at all. Even though we had paid for all inclusive! This meant that the last two days must be characterized as a stay at a 1 star hotel.

The staff constantly apologized for the situation but no one took responsibility until the evening of the last day. We were then upgraded, but the time we had spent trying to be heard meant that we had to cancel 2 planned excursions.

Tip to the hotel. The guest is the most important person you have in your hotel. This time you were too greedy and only thought about the money you could get from the 250 new guests. You forgot the last 20 guests. Not worthy of a 5 * hotel.

Food was awful

La nourriture .. les plats chauds étaient froid .. ce n’était pas varié .. quand on paie 1900 euros la semaine sans le vol on s’attends à mieux d’autant que certains ont payé 1200 euros à 2 vol compris et on a eu les mêmes prestations .

La piscine intérieure nécessite une amélioration du système de renouvellement de l’eau. Le dispositif de pompage et de filtration ne semble pas fonctionner

However the bathroom and toilet were dirty. On check-in, we found poo in the toilet and bathroom not cleaned.
I didn't want room cleaned on the second day, but did on the 3rd day. Bedsheets were not changed although it was dirty and had makeup and drink stains.
They were not changed the 4th day either and were only changed after I repeatedly called and even went to reception 3 times to complain.
No iron provided, even after calling severally.
The restaurant had several selections but repeated options, same food daily. For instance, potatoes for breakfast, lunch and dinner, not much options for different pallet. Overall, their customers service is horrible.

Barulho nos quartos vizinhos não foi tratado pelo hotel como pedimos, em mais do que uma noite.

Location a bit poor

if you are looking for a classic morrocan style hotel this is not for you ,neither is it a modern up to date premises this hotel is stuck in a time warp was 5star when built but not now,the is tatty has no sound proofing noise from slamming doors ,footsteps ect transmits through out. furniture is out dated our room had no bracket for shower head and we had to change room because foul smell in bathroom.new room had very sticky entrance door and bathroom door would not close looked like someone tried chissel some off door.if you have a room on the road side of hotel very noisey with motor bikes some nights.stayed 18 nights here 16 of those nights we eat dinner in hotel and not ONCE were we offered soft drinks or alcahol/wine. dinner plates not 5star ouality.my got food poisoning,and a couple times we had no running water.

La comida está mas pensada para turistas locales, la limpieza y el mantenimiento de las instalaciones externas se podía mejorar.

Le temps n était pas au rdv nous avons eu froid donc les habits mouillés ..il n y avait pas d étendoir pour pouvoir poser notre linge ...pas de chauffage non plus ...et nous avons pris une chambre familiale avec 4 lits ..ils nous ont surclassé avec une chambre mais malheureusement un lit d appoint pour ma fille de 17 ans et mon fils a dormi sur le canapé ...la propreté est quand même a revoir ...
Au niveau piscine chauffée rien a redire mais le liner se décolle a un endroit c est dommage pour un 5 étoiles.
Au niveau de la nourriture tajines très bon mais c est dommage les repas sont répétitifs ...
Et lieu très excentré de Marrakech ,une navette est à disposition si il y a de la place et rentrée à 17:30 ce qui fait un peu juste pour pouvoir profiter de la ville en soirée .
