The Waterloo was a pleasant surprise; I would stay here again.
Pros:

This boutique hotel is in a charming old building and has been faithfully restored and updated. The rooms are small but well-appointed. Great amenities, such as complimentary coffee and very effective AC. The Ballsbridge area is wonderful. The hotel staff and management were very kind.

Cons:

The room was small, but typical of older European hotels. It wasn't a problem. Ballsbridge is not in the heart of Dublin, but in a lovely quiet neighborhood.

Fully recommend the Waterloo Townhouse and would definitely stay again!
Pros:

Fantastic location in a quieter area of Dublin but still walkable into the centre. Great pubs, cafes and stores within 200 yards on Baggott Street.
The house is a traditional Georgian property with lovely features and modern facilities, very comfortable bed, great shower and bathroom.
Staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful.
