Lovely stay
Pros:

Stayed here for a wedding in April at Bartle Hall. Was an ideal location as close to the venue and plenty of parking. The room was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast at the hungry horse too!

Room was fine, en suite bathroom looked 'tired' and 1980's vintage and in need of a revamp/facelift.

The bathroom needed a lot of work and there was visible mould in the bathtub and a broken flush on the toilet.

Staff were great, enjoyed the stay
Pros:

Breakfast was lovely, double bed was comfortable. Staff was lovely and friendly from cleans to staff behind check in desk to the breakfast staff.

Cons:

The single beds were quite hard and uncomfortable for the children

Nice comfortable bed

Cons:

Shower in my room didn't give much hot water and shower head needed renewing.Although I was offered another room late pm on 2nd day which I didn't take as didn't want to move all my luggage just for one more day. Some of the bar staff although business like were a bit grumpy no ale very limited crisps no peanuts and a few flies in eating areas of bar.

Good value if you don’t mind the outdated furnishings.
Pros:

It is very dated but very reasonably priced. We were visiting family so didn’t dine in the pub next door but the staff we met were lovely and the room was clean.

Cons:

Just a little dated but the price was right so this didn’t bother us.

A good comfortable hotel that is well located for the area.
Pros:

A good selection is available that is well prepared and served by very friendly staff. Good value for money. Caters for most dietary needs.

Cons:

Some areas are looking dated, though that adds to its charm. No covered walkway between accommodation and the eating areas, though it might be that it has always rained when I visit.
