The owner is very responsive, she give an assurance to the client that it is a legit.
Pros:

The owner is responsive and they find ways your request. The view is so good.

Replace the cleaning person
Pros:

1. There is a convenience store and restaurant on the ground floor.
2. There is a mall one block away.
3. Owner was courteous when responding to my complaints. Owner had the cleaner come to the unit the next day to do more cleaning.
4. Internet is reliable.
5. You can watch streaming and YouTube on the TV.

Cons:

1. Poorly cleaned (if at all)
- microwave had splatters and previous guests leftovers
- kitchen shelves were dusty and dirty
- Bath towel was completely unfolded and hanging out in the open so it looked like it was a used towel hung outside to dry. Yet, owner and cleaner claimed it was a clean (unused) towel. Tip: the cleaner should not unfold towels if they are clean/unused.
-  I thought it was a chocolate/coffee stain on the placemats, but when I smudged it, I realized it was not a stain. the placemats on the table were not wiped before we arrived. I cleaned and disinfected the table and placemats myself.
- kitchen towel had marks. I don't know whether it is a stain or it was not replaced before we arrived.
- the poor cleaning job made me doubt that the bedding was changed before we arrived.
- Although the cleaner was apologetic, she gave lots of excuses.
2. Roaches and bugs
- even with no food or dirty dishes out, there were small roaches and bugs crawling on the kitchen counter. Owner said there is pest control scheduled a few days after we check out. Some reviews of other units within Holland Park that mention roaches and bugs, so it sounds like a building problem, not unique to this unit.
3. Bed
- the mattress protector made it feel like i was sleeping on plastic bag. Sliding and noisy
- there is an unsightly stain on headboard. The cleaner claimed it was from super glue.
4. Toilet seat was loose. It slips and moves when you sit on it. The right side is not bolted down. The cleaner mentioned that the toilet seat has been like that for a while. I asked why it had not been fixed. Her answer was "it is under warranty."
5. No shower water heater. Not a very big deal for me because at least the bathroom had a bucket and dipper. There is an electric kettle in the room which I used to heat up water for bathing.
6. Neither the owner nor the cleaner live in the building. So complaints like cleanliness and repairs are not dealt with urgently.

Complete kitchen equipment and toiletries included with swimming pool and shopping mall adjacent
Pros:

Location beside the shopping mall was great. Supermarket and many restaurants are in the mall complex.

Cons:

I saw a bug. No hot water available.
