Diamond Beach Penthouse 5PH3

Literally watching the sun rise and set on the horizon :)
The Penthouse was super clean, the beds were very comfortable and had everything you would need. We had a fun time in the games room as a family and enjoyed our walk on the beach.

The condo was beautiful. Nicest place we’ve ever stayed in Galveston. The lazy River was phenomenal.

The property has so much to do! We loved the pool and lazy river. The swim up bar was great and the bartender was the best! He was really personable.

The amenities and the location is amazing!

Everything

The pictures show you everything! You can sit on the large patio and watch the pelicans and birds flying just above. There were 6 of us and we loved this stay! The two chaise lounge chairs were good to sleep on too as we all had a few naps on them! The outdoors area is large and we could all relax there easily. Access to the beach was easy.
All the amenities you could want are there at Diamond Beach. The only thing I would have liked it a rectangular table that sat all 6 of us. We played games (4 people) so the round was good for that.

The lazy river was good but the hot tub was even better. Because our winds were 27mph with a 39mph gust, (good Ole Mother Nature at her finest), the hot tub sits back from the pool and is shielded from the winds. It was a perfect temperature an clean. The whole area is very clean and kept in good standings. I noticed they even got new floats for the lazy river. The old ones from last year were black and very large. Rubbed the back of my heel but the new ones are just perfect for any sized person.

The communication was Superior and Aaron was very quick to respond to any of my questions. He is a good Host and has a lovely penthouse. Nothing could have been better. Thank you for sharing your lovely Penthouse with us!

Condo was fantastic, updated, comfortable with a beautiful view of the gulf! Host was excellent and very communicative, can say enough good things about the host and the condo!

The location to the beach was perfect!

Location, facilities, cleanliness, comfort and finish are top drawer and the host could not have been more helpful. The westerly facing balcony catches the sun from late morning till glorious sunset.

We were apprehensive reading the list of possible fines if we didn't follow the host's instructions but we were careful to comply (as we would have anyway). Aaron graciously and unexpectedly allowed us to check in early (which gave us extra time to enjoy floating in the lovely lazy river) and also provided two free beach towels. The condo was in good condition and very clean (except for the moldy seal in the washing machine, a common issue with front loaders). Main bedroom is rather small (not enough room beside king-size bed to open the closet doors). Bed was comfortable except for the firm pillows (consider bringing your own). The leather sofa seat is very deep (seemingly designed for long thighs), so add a pillow for back support. Kitchen could use one or two sharp knives, but there were plenty of dishwasher tablets and three hair dryers provided (unlisted amenities). There were no perfumy smells of air fresheners or fabric softeners, and I appreciated that due to allergies. Parking garage was nice and pretty empty at the time. Note that this area of Galveston beach is completely covered by waves at high tide, and you may need mosquito spray.
