Our stay at Wuyu Hotel was fantastic. The host, Lucky, was very warm and welcoming. She helped us plan our time in Chongqing, and made sure that we felt comfortable. Even if we were in the city for a short time, we were very happy to put one hour aside and experience the tea ceremony with Lucky. She is very knowledgeable and we got to try some great tea.
The rooms at the hotel are large, spotless, and with all the amenities necessary for a comfortable stay. At breakfast we had the chance of trying freshly-cooked Chongqing noodles, in addition to toasts, eggs, coffee, etc.
We would definitely stay at Wuyu again.

The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was very friendly! The rooms were very clean, and I appreciated the laundry service. As an American who doesn't speak the language, the English speaking staff members made me feel very welcomed, and gave me many a list of things to do in the city. Overall great experience!

Die Managerin des Hotels ist super lieb und versucht allen Wünschen gerecht zu werden. Sie ist sehr bemüht Chongqing von seiner besten Seite zu präsentieren. Sie gibt Tipps für Sehenswürdigkeiten und hilft einem bei Schwierigkeiten. Ich kann das Hotel nur weiterempfehlen!

Im Wuyu Hotel anzukommen und direkt einen Tee serviert zu bekommen hat uns direkt nach einer anstrengenden Bahnreise herunterkommen lassen. Diese Entspannung setzte auch den Maßstab für den gesamten Aufenthalt. Von absolut makellosen Zimmern, zu super bequemen Betten und sämtlichen Aufmerksamkeiten (Früchte und Snacks sowie wasser und Soft Drinks als courtesy auf dem Zimmer), fantastisches frisch gekochtes Frühstück (chinesisch + continental) rundeten die Erfahrung ab. Dazu kommt die riesige Gastfreundschaft des gesamten Personals, allen voran Lucky. Sie versorgte uns hervorragend mit Tips für unseren Aufenthalt und nam sich sogar Zeit uns zu einem traditionellen Tee trinken einzuladen. Das Hotel liegt ruhig in der Nähe der schönen Altstadt. Absolute Empfehlung für alle Urlauber die Entspannung und ehrliche Gastfreundschaft suchen oder wenn man etwas zuhause Gefühl auf der Geschäftsreise sucht. Vielen Dank ans Team bis hoffentlich bald!

My family and I love our recent stay at the Wuyu hotel. The hotel manager Lucky has been very helpful and attentive to all my requests from the time I booked and all the staff were very friendly and like a happy family working together. It has a home away from home warm feeling. Its location though not central was very peaceful and safe.

Everything, quiet, modern but with a homely feel. A very hospitable host Lucky who goes out of her way to engage with you with daily recommendations. Whilst a little further from a subway station. DiDi is so convenient and affordable and the quality of the accomodation it outweighs staying in the city. I highly recommend this property.

Le calme, l’emplacement privé, la chambre spacieuse et même le lobby

Vielen Dank nochmal für den tollen Aufenthalt im Herzen von China — in Chonqing! Wir hatten eine super tolle Zeit, die Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich, bemüht und haben ihre Hilfe angeboten, wo es möglich war!

Wir haben eine außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft erfahren und sind dafür sehr dankbar! Die Mitarbeiterinnen sprechen gutes Englisch, sie helfen einem, sich in der Stadt zurechtzufinden und geben einem Hinweise auf Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch haben sie für uns einen Tagestrip zu den „drei natürlichen Brücken“ — der Karst in Wulong — organisiert.

Alle waren immer sehr freundlich und es gab ein tolles Frühstück jeden Tag. Wir haben am Ende sehr Wertvolles über die chinesische Teekultur kennengelernt — Teezubereitung im Gong-Fu-Stil. Es war sehr informativ.

Auch durften wir außerplanmäßig, aufgrund einer Flugverspätung, ein bisschen länger im Hotelzimmer bleiben und uns noch ausruhen. Vielen Dank für alles!

Für Touristen aus dem Ausland ist dieses Hotel ein super Startpunkt, um sich Chongqing oder allgemein China näherbringen zu lassen und ein temporäres „Zuhause“ zu finden. Denn man kann sich auf das Hotelpersonal verlassen und wird durch die freundliche Kommunikation beruhigt, denn man ist im Wissen, dass sich hier jemand kümmert und sie in jedem Fall Englisch sprechen; denn niemand spricht in Chonqing Englisch. Es fühlte sich an, als besuche man entfernte Verwandte — wunderbar!

I was looking for a non-hotel kind of situation. Didn't want to go through a lifeless reception area and then to the room. This place envelops you in warmth as soon as you enter. The reception are is perfunctory - entrance shows you a library and a serving platform ahead. All of it tells you that you will be treated as a member of the family and not another customer. And then there are the people whether it is the cleaning lady, the cook aunty, the receptionist and most importantly the concierge who speaks English. We were lucky to have Lucky as our concierge and she went beyond the basic interaction- gave us tips on places to visit ( all of it were just the right one for us), places to eat and she did something beyond what is expected of her. She arranged a tea ceremony where we could interact with out Chinese relatives while Lucky translated. This touched us a great deal and made our stay special.
A bit about the breakfast. Please go hungry for the breakfast. There is so much to eat and try. The rice cakes, dumplings, congee and do not miss the noodles the aunty delivers. They made all efforts to give us vegetarian stuff. The noodles are the best here...

Tout était super ! On m’a accueilli très tôt à 5h du matin le jour de mon arrivée et j ai pu tout de suite avoir ma chambre ! La chambre était super belle et propre avec une terrasse sympathique. Lucky mon hôte a été très gentille et toujours serviable et de bon conseil pour les activités à faire ! Nous avons également bu le thé ensemble où elle m’a expliqué comment le faire et différentes histoires sur le thé. On a aussi mangé avec son équipe et c’était très chouette. Le petit déjeuner était également très bon et varié. J’ai pu goûté aux fameuses chongqing noodles qui étaient délicieuses ! Merci à la chef ! Je ne peux que recommander cet établissement dans un endroit calme et mignon et très bien situé pour moi pour aller me promener en ville. Je ne peux que recommander cet établissement! Merci encore à lucky ! La prochaine fois que je reviens je reprendrai cet hôtel ! 🙂🙂🙂
