Lots of maintenance issues the bath faucet is loose the fridge froze the food I stored in it the furniture was old and broken and the sofa had torn upholstery

Had a pretty long check in process which was done online/phone. After we checked in, I texted the staff (as requested by them, if we need anything) the blinds in our kitchen were not closing all the way. After the long check in process online, there was on site staff that could have checked us in. He check out the blinds in our room and did not offer a solution but said "I checked with the cleaning staff and they said, that is the way they are". He did not give any other solutions. Sun would wake us every morning. There wasn't anyone else in the resort. I asked him if the pool was heated and he said, yes of course, to which I replied, it doesn't seem like it. It was FREEEZING, cold plunge anyone? There wasn't any house keeping service but they did roll a very loud cart up and down the walkway out front of the rooms which would make noise every crack in the sidewalk. The kitchen had different size mugs and glassware. We had 1 champagne flute, I asked for another (as well as some plastic to have drinks near the pool) which didn't show up for over 2 hours. On night 2 another guest checked in for 1 evening and they were put in the room directly next to ours (whole resort was open). I don't think they know much about hospitality. No smoke detector, no luggage rack, scuffs on the walls, towel rack was coming away from the wall. This place looks nice in the photos but I would avoid staying here.

Unfortunately the pool was not working. These things happen but was not resolved for the whole week. Engineers did attempt to fix the problem.
Room cleaning only happened once without request. The second time was on request. Unless you saw someone it would not be done.
Messaged management regarding a couple of requests but no response even though it was the number offered for communication.

Finally we arrived late on our first night. In this situation it would be nice to have water in the fridge. Also, no kitchenette area even though there is a fridge for storing food. A small area with plates and cutlery would be nice.

I get into the room. It smells like horribly bad chemicals. The shower is so small. The water knob did not work to shut it off. It took me about 15 minutes to turn off the water. I took off the sheets from the bed as I was trying to help the maids as I was leaving. There was unwashed sheets with human feces. Very upset about seeing that.

NO person to check you in just with phone. YOU have to photo yourself holding driver license plus photo of credit card for deposit. It was dark, car parking outside of compound, carrying your luggage, handbag, trying to hold your phone n put in your code they send you is challenging for an 84! When you reach your room again you have to use a code to open the door. Never opened on first try! The room was bare NO COFFEE machine, only 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel, NO wash cloths. My daughter arrived so there was two of us. Will NEVER RETURN!
