Sehr schlecht 😭
Pros:

Das Hotel lag sehr zentral. Es gab viele Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten, und die Marmaray war ganz in der Nähe. Die Frauen vom Reinigungsservice und die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich.

Cons:

Die Zimmer waren schrecklich. Die Wände sind sehr dünn, man hört alles aus den Nachbarzimmern, und der Lärm hört oft bis 3–4 Uhr morgens nicht auf. Das Bad und die Wasserhähne sind sehr alt. Viele Zimmer haben kein Fenster und keine frische Luft. Morgens wacht man mit dem Geruch von Frittiertem auf, weil die Belüftung sehr schlecht ist. Die Sauna und der Pool sind ebenfalls schrecklich und riechen sehr unangenehm. Das Frühstück ist jeden Tag dasselbe. Die Mitarbeiter dort sind sehr faul und spielen den ganzen Tag nur mit ihren Handys.

Definitely not a 4 star, non smokers must avoid!

We only lasted 1 night of our 6…

Arrived at 9pm to a room where the toilet wouldn’t flush, reception was happy for us to stay in that room with maintenance coming in the morning. As someone who has Crohn’s disease and was also on their period I was not staying in that room overnight with no flushing toilet, reception reluctantly moved us.

Constant overpowering smell of cigarettes in the room, in the hallway and even in the breakfast restaurant. Although hotel says smoking is prohibited, the receptionist was smoking in reception and I’ll leave it at that.

New room had a broken blind that only half shut and the next day we came back to find the air con didn’t work only heating as the lowest was 21 degrees and you don’t control your own aircon you have to call reception to change it for you, and they can’t turn it off. They offered to move us rooms against but enough was enough and we ended up checking out.

Other than that the breakfast was diabolical, (good if you want chicken nugget’s and chips though) the rooms facing the main street are super noisy at all hours and the hotel looks absolutely nothing like the photos and I would not recommend staying here if you’re used to a 4 star hotel and not a 2. If you do want a nice 4 star hotel for a similar price, the Merlin over the road (which we moved to) is lovely.

Worst place I’ve ever stayed in and I’ve stayed in hostels in Asia while budget backpacking.
