Subject: Formal Complaint Against CIP Hotel – Urgent Action Required

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding my recent stay at CIP Hotel, which turned into one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered during my travels.

I initially booked two rooms through Booking.com from March 20 to March 25. I later informed the hotel that I wished to extend my stay until March 29. The hotel staff advised me that there was no need to extend through Booking.com, as they would handle everything internally.

On March 29, I requested an upgrade to a suite with a jacuzzi. The hotel again discouraged me from using Booking.com and assured me they would manage the process. I was charged €80 per night for the suite.

On April 3, I returned to a standard room. Despite this being part of the same booking arrangement, the hotel increased the nightly rate from €35 to €50 for Room 605 (April 3–5), without justification.

During my stay, I discovered bed bugs in the room, which is completely unacceptable. After reporting the issue, the hotel sprayed pesticides while my luggage was left open inside the room, resulting in my clothes and belongings being contaminated with chemicals. No cleaning or compensation was offered.

At the end of my stay on April 11, I requested an airport transfer arranged by the hotel and paid €70. The driver provided by the hotel dropped me in the parking area instead of the passenger terminal and refused to take me further. The situation escalated, and I was physically assaulted by the driver.

I immediately contacted the hotel to report the incident, but they showed no concern or responsibility. Due to this incident, I missed my flight and had to file a police report. A legal case has been opened, and I sustained multiple physical injuries.

This entire experience reflects severe negligence, lack of professionalism, and failure in ensuring guest safety.

Rooms where good, clean and with some good facilities. Place was cleamln and Staff were very nice.

Cons:

Jacuzzi did not work - even though I paid for this (be careful before booking - see other reviews)
Breakfast was limited inc - sauces for the salad and egg (just boiled egg)
Pool times kept changing - despite clear signage and leaflets
