Beautiful hotel - fantastic beach and excellent staff and service . The food was excellent and Managment very attentive
Bluewaters was one of the best hotels I have ever experienced .
Amazing location with very very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were extremely comfortable , clean and with full luxury amenities.
The food was of high quality and variety especially the huge breakfast and quality dinner. All in all I would recommend the hotel to anyone looking for paradise and tranquility with first class service.
Fantastic stay. The rooms were gorgeous, the views incredible, the beach pristine, the restaurant was very impressive, and the service and hospitality were top-notch. You feel the history when you’re there which takes it deeper, and anything you want to do on the grounds or outside in Antigua is easily coordinated by the concierge. Thank you Blue Waters for the incredible experience.
A beautiful part of Anita
However every time I shower the bathroom becomes a river, the floors are like a skating rink, the food is mediocre and not a lot of choice when staff were told nothing was done
Will not come back
We have ten nights every two years and they are always very enjoyable. Great food and drink options, watersports, small beach but lovely. Nice swimming pools. The staff are great especially Derah and Keva in the Palm. Serena on the desk in the spa and Tanya the therapist. The food by Ronald Regan in the Cove was exceptional all the time. Gavi, Tremaine and Ezikiel in Veronica’s bar always efficient. We will be returning.
We usually don’t write a review, however as we sit in The Palm bar, waiting to leave this fabulous resort, my wife and I felt compelled to. We have just completed an 11 night stay in a Deluxe Beachfront Villa. The view over the azure sea is amazing. We went all inclusive and it proved to be good value, the dining experience in all restaurants is very good. The staff were fantastic always smiling and keen to please. A special mention to Gavi and Tramaine in Veronica’s bar, Brian T in the Palm bar and banana bread Dera at breakfast, such beautiful people. The reception team and Nicole always there to assist and the Manager Kevin, supremely professional.
The measure of a holiday is whether you would return……..we’ll be back.
Anna & John - London.
Amazing facilities and beautiful beaches. The hotel was really well kept and very clean. Reception and Concierge were brilliant at helping with restaurant recommendations and booking car hire/trips. The Kids Club was brilliant! Our son loved it and asked to go every day
It was VERY expensive to eat and drink there as we were bed and breakfast, not all inclusive. It was USD$37.50 for a kids buffet and USD$14 for a smoothie/milkshake and this is before the 17% tax and 10% service charge. We ate at other local restaurants most evenings because of this but there is nothing within walking distance, which we knew when we booked. A 5 minute return taxi journey was USD$40! We went in Half Term and it was busy - we had to queue to be seated for breakfast every morning and the sun loungers on the deck were all reserved before 7.30am
This was our first visit to Antigua—and to Blue Waters—and our experience was nothing short of exceptional.
Our suite (802) was spacious, beautifully appointed, and spotlessly clean, complete with its own plunge pool. The “all‑you‑can‑consume” mini‑bar was an especially nice touch.
We were on an all‑inclusive package and thoroughly enjoyed the food and beverage offerings, particularly at The Reef and Veronica’s Bar. Our children made full use of the complimentary water sports, spending time each day kayaking and paddle boarding.
The service from the staff was consistently outstanding, and above all, we appreciated that the resort never felt crowded. It created a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere throughout our stay.
We will definitely be returning.
Our group, 2 couples with their children (4-7 years old), shared a beautiful penthouse villa for a week this February. Property grounds were perfectly maintained with many pools, beachfront loungers and secluded spaces to enjoy. There is room for friends, couples, solo, and family travelers without feeling too large to navigate. The all-inclusive package was well worth the investment; each bar and restaurant delivered fantastic meals and great selection of drinks, including non alcoholic options. Our favorite aspect was the staff. Each team member was a pleasure to connect with, no matter their role. Many thanks to these amazing hosts, especially Nicole for managing us! Thank you for sharing Antigua!
Just returned from a fabulous holiday at Blue Waters. From our arrival to our departure we were well looked after. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was laid back and relaxed when we were there.
The food was great. Breakfast you could help yourself or the team would prepare what you wanted. The omelettes were lovely. Lunch is either at the Reef or Palm restaurant with a great choice. In the evening you can always eat at The Palm, although you do need to book a time. There are two other restaurants available - The Reef which served Asian inspired food and The Cove which is more fine dining. You need to book in advance for both. Make sure you try all three as they are all great. They are all available through the All Inclusive option which was great. We loved having a drink at the bars and thank the teams at both Pelican and Veronica’s for looking after us so well with cocktails and other drinks.
Our room was as described with a view of the sea. Well equipped with storage and a comfortable bed. Our room was serviced daily and kept spotlessly clean.
We took part in some of the activities including the garden talk, early morning walk, mixology and rum tasting. We also used the gym which was well equipped. We could always find a lounger by the beach or pool. We loved swimming in the sea and the pools. The only disappointment was the cancellation of our snorkel trip as the boat was out of action.
We arrived home relaxed and feeling that we had had a real break. Thank you to everyone in the Blue Waters team. Would we return - we most certainly would.
Have just returned from 3 weeks at Blue Waters Resort. Cannot speak too highly of the hotel. Beautiful landscaped gardens, stunning views, 3 restaurants with delicious food but above all the staff were friendly, efficient and attentive. A particular mention for Nicole who looked after us exceptionally during our stay
With the wretched weather in England, we were delighted to thoroughly enjoy 10 days in the sun at 28°.
From our welcome to our departure, Kevin and his whole team provided faultless service. We used a friendly local taxi service (Lewis from the hotel squad) to get us to Cedar Valley golf course for 3 rounds of well-priced golf. He also took us to St. John's on a cruise boat-free day! Go to Hemingway's for lunch!!!
All the hotel restaurants provided an excellent variety of food. We really enjoyed the Cove but early booking is essential
There was fun music every night including a superstar bass guitarist each week - Curtly Ambrose -- you can't miss him as he is 6'7".
There's lots to do at the hotel with good sea and pool swimming, a well equipped gym, sessions of yoga & Tai chi, walks with head gardener (John) as well as rum tastings events.
There were so many attentive staff but we really enjoyed chatting to Sparkel and a new recruit Daliah in the Cove restaurant.
This trip was just the job to get us away from the wretched UK weather. The resort is set in outstanding grounds, with 3 very different pools, including an adults only one.
Fantastic staff, very good food and a relaxing atmosphere make Blue Waters an excellent choice. Our only disappointment was the cancelation of the sunset cruise due to a boat problem.
We had a room overlooking the sea, and it was wonderfully quiet, as we are both light sleepers.
A special mention has to go to Naldine, who was housekeeper extraordinaire- nothing was too much trouble, plus she was kind and totally professional.
Would we return? Without a doubt, and perhaps we could then experience the sunset cruise!
This was our fifth visit to the resort, and it is every bit as wonderful as ever. The resort itself is absolutely gorgeous, the atmosphere is so relaxing, and the staff consistently go above and beyond to make every stay special.
It was lovely to see Kevin, the manager, back again, and Nicole couldn’t be more efficient or helpful if she tried. Whist all of the staff are superb, special mentions must go to Keva, Dera and Sparkel in The Palm and Tremaine and Gavi in Veronica’s – they are full of personality and always incredibly attentive, making sure drinks, food and cocktails arrive quickly and always with a big smile.
The food throughout our stay was delicious. Every meal we had was exceptional, wonderfully fresh with an excellent choice available at all times in all 3 restaurants.
We thoroughly enjoyed the activities on offer too. The yoga sessions with Lynne were very enjoyable and the morning walks with Sheldon were a perfect way to start the day. We also made great use of the gym where Vish certainly put us through our paces!
The housekeeping team do an outstanding job and John keeps the stunning grounds looking immaculate and beautifully maintained. There are always plenty of sunbeds available, the sea is glorious and the beach is kept spotlessly clean.
Will we return for a sixth visit? ABSOLUTELY.
On arrival the feeling at Blue Waters was immediately one of luxury and relaxation.
The first room we are taken to was not quite what I had hoped for but my concerns were addressed without hesitation and a great deal of professionalism and customer care was demonstrated. We were moved to a beautiful room and I was most impressed by the way I was made to feel that I mattered to the general manager and the rest of the friendly and cheerful staff.
The grounds, beaches, restaurants all deserve 5stars The food was excellent and the all inclusive option was well worth it.
I feel that anyone considering a trip to Antigua could not find a better place to stay. I hope I can return one day.
We absolutely loved Blue Waters. Very Colonial set on a beautiful private beach
The gardens are immaculate with lots of areas for sunbeds which are more tucked away
Quiet adult pool with full bed.s
Pool with a bar for that lunch sunset cocktail
Larger pool with beds over looking the clear blue sea
Food 3 restaurants all
Menu but you do need to book. The Cove is the more fine dining it’s just a shame the sea is not lit up as it’s not open at lunchtime I would have loved to see that view
The Asian The reef best flavours great lunch place
Buffet breakfast ample but you also can select. Lovely space again all overlooking the sea
We had Nicole look after our every need she is the incredible doesn’t miss a detail. Wie chartered the Blue water speedboat which took us the bird island we’re we went snorkelling and saw turtles amazing took us out to see the island from
The sea. Well worth it Rocky was very good and informative
Other days we just got driver to take us around. But the hotel is so Peaceful calm you just want to stay there.
It’s a real gem owned by British family and they are often around it’s just perfect to f you like a bit calmer
We will be back.
Great hotel in a lovely location
Staff were fantastic, great people.
Food was amazing
All restaurants are good
Atmosphere is good and in the main really nice people holidaying here
No problem getting seats at beach or pool
Lots of nice areas in the grounds to sit / walk
Nighttime entertainment was generally good
Wafer thins walls, meant noise disturbances from adjacent room
Bedroom decorated adequately, not five star standard
Bathroom is dated with worn in grime
Odd coachroach found in bathroom, draws and fridge
Overall think it is expensive for what is offered
This is a perfect hotel. The location is great as you can access the town easily but also Antigua isn't big so nowhere is far really. The vibe of the hotel is calm, sophisticated and luxurious. The room was amazing! Such a great space not small at all and everything that we could have possibly needed and more was supplied and the attention to detail was great, especially how clean it was. We loved the outside patio and seating area. All three pools were lovely, we liked that there is an adults only pool too. There are so many little hidden relaxation areas dotting around. The evening entertainment on the weekend was great, the band was really good. The absolute favourite part for me was the food.... Wow just wow. We stayed all inclusive and it was absolutely worth every penny. Every single meal was absolutely delicious, we came away with not a single fault of the place or the staff at all and we cannot wait to return.
Our first time to Antigua and we wanted to relax and chill for a week. The bluewater resort was perfect in all ways. The rooms were well equipped and maintained, the housekeeping was attentive. The resort staff were friendly, attentive and professional, always taking time to chat if you wanted to. The food in all the restaurants was very good, we had all inclusion plan and was so nice to have table service rather than a buffet experience, except breakfast which was a god buffet and table service option. The beach was our go to for daytime and we never had a problem getting sun loungers and the bar staff would often serve refreshments. Overall a great week and would definitely stay again if I return to Antigua.
