The A/C unit in the living room did not work. The A/C unit would blow warm air. The A/C unit in the bedroom had to cool the entire apartment off. If we closed the door to the bedroom for short periods of time for privacy, it would get so hot in the living room that my son could not sleep. When I texted the owner she told me that it did work, it was beachside, and we were in a heat wave. The A/C unit in the bedroom worked great but the one in the living room never blew cold air. We had to go buy sheets for the futon couch, there were none provided. We left the sheets for next guests. We only had two wash clothes for showering three people for four days. Within the first hour of arrival, my 10 y/o son witnessed a deceased young male floating in the pool below us after “falling” from the 14th floor balcony. The cops kept us awake until 4 AM. They had to drain the pool the next morning and the pool stayed closed the entire 4 days we were there (we wouldn’t have gotten into the pool anyways after witnessing that). I understand that that incident was no fault of the owner but most establishments would have offered compensation. I’m not trying to sound insensitive to the deceased. Overall we had a good time.

The host of the film I booked has a nasty attitude. When u text the host back about a concern she got nasty I told her I didn’t do something and she said I’m not going to go back and forth with you and I only text her one time.. I also supported her with purchasing item from her out of the room and this is the type of attitude I got.. I don’t appreciate that at all.

I wouldn’t change a thing

I am a long-time user or Booking.com. The listing was misleading. A few colorful wall hangings do not mask reality. The attached photos show a lack of cleanliness and rust. This place is best described as run down in need of a face lift. Upon arrival we were struck by the odor from smoking even though this was a no smoking apartment. Unfortunately, I didn't read the fine print showing a $150 cleaning fee!! This is more than the nightly rate? Moreover, we were instructed that we must clean all dishes & silverware and empty the trash, despite the $150 cleaning fee. This is how the owner misrepresented the cost. In its current state, it is totally over-priced and the Booking.com description and photos misrepresent the apartment.

I did find 1 roach upon arrival but no more. To me the space was tiny but roomy enough for a short stay for a couple and MAYBE 1 child.

The room floor grout was beyond dirty. Grout was way over due cleaning. Baseboards need touch up painting. The room overall care seems to have been poorly maintained by property.

The coffee maker in the room didn't work.
I didn't like the shower has shampoo and soap dispensers that was refillable. That's kind of nasty but we had brought our own anyways.

We was going to get in the pool and we checked the water and it was warm the day before but when we decided to get into it it was cold so we didn't get in it
I didn't like the fact we had to walk over a block before we got to the garage. I was just thinkful it didn't rain till we left

Bed was uncomfortable but certainly did not keep me from enjoying my stay. Would have been nice to have blackout curtains because of the adjacent property lights, but again, this was a minor issue.

THE HOT TUB COULD OF BEEN A LITTLE CLEANER. THERE WERE TWO OF THEM AND THEY BOTH COULD OF USED A LITTLE SCRUBBING.
