It Eco-friendly! Fantastic view and very easy access to the gorgeous beach! Very nice staff! nice quality bedding, rooms simple, tastefully put together!Coming out of the Mombasa heat, it felt like heaven in the room with the AC pumping. Brilliant layout overall.

Wow, this place was a dream and absolutely beautiful. Lala and Boxo combined are exceptional. The location is perfect, just where you want to be, close to the beautiful soft sandy beach of Diani. The employees were lovely too.

V good location. Its sister establishment, Lala Galu, has a lovely beach front bar/restaurant that Boxo guests have access to.
There was only 1 bath towel in the room and it had holes in it. My booking clearly stated 2 adults. Well past midnight, some hotel guests chose to swim in the pool with total disregard for sleeping guests. There was no notice by the pool and it was only when a member of staff came and told them swimming at that time is not allowed that they came out of the pool. The rooms are not sound proof, you can hear all the noise from outside, though I appreciate the novel container concept. The room needs better cleaning in the nooks and crannies.
There's nothing i didn't like in this property. From proximity to the beach to all the friendly staff, everything was perfect 👌🏽

Enjoyed my stay the location is perfect and the facilities are awesome. Direct access to the beach, plenty of sockets in the room, and great water pressure made all the difference. It’s especially great for solo travellers. Many thanks to Elizabeth, Masha, Mohammed, and Moses for making the experience so memorable.

Creepy staff member it was 1 man. Even tried to invite himself by asking details of my room. for context I travelled solo. All the other staff were amazing
Lovely staff, Good location, walking distance to great nearby beachfront restaurants. Beachfront accessible. Loved the accessibility to their sister hotel-Lala Galu that provided regular evening entertainment and a nice restaurant. Bed was very comfortable, I slept good!
Breakfast was good but potions and service time could be better. The washroom door doesn't fully close.
This hotel is great value for money and the concept is cool. The staff was friendly and helpful..The property is ckean and well maintained. Located very close to the beach.
Beach access is through their sister property which is a short walk. The only facilities you have access to on that property is the restaurant. So you aren't able to use their pool area (which is much nicer) or beach chairs.The Boxo pool is on theme and is a container too so kind if small and gets very hot in the sun
Comfortable bed. Clean room, good value
The air conditioning was always ticking throughout the night. Annoying. The included breakfast only serves instant coffee, I find it incredible that in the land of coffee we are served instant coffee! Moreover, on Monday you can serve breakfast from an earlier time rather than 8:00 am

No entertainment in the rooms.
This is my fourth visit and I tell everyone I meet about Boxo - staff / location / value for money is great and I'll continue to go back.
Sometimes some of the bar staff are a little slow - maybe just inexperienced
