Comfort and location close to beach
Pros:

Location - location - location, easy walk to beach! Sweet girls on reception available to help with cars, tours etc. A good breakfast to suit all tastes (Ales in kitchen restaurant spoke excellent English & I enjoyed our conversations, he also helped me recommend a shopping mall for specific items that I needed.
Small pool but lovely to have one. I enjoyed my 4 day stay. And bonus little supermarket Moonmilk right next door.

Cons:

Photos of view from room on Booking.com site are fake. I got a glimpse of the beach through a smaller window, not like the photo at all. No need to do that as my expectations were very disappointed.

Kahvaltı güzele yakındı fakat domuz eti yerine danayı tercih ederim.Beyaz peynir ve zeytin Avrupalı misafirlerinizi memnun eder.Eksikliklere rağmen teşekkür ederim.

Cons:

Kahvaltı salonu küçük havuz gereksiz yerde zaten kullanan da 1-2 kişi.Resepsiyonda çalışan mavi kıyafetli kız çok soğuk gereksiz illerle uğraşıp çıkışta motel bozucu hareketlerini hoş bulmadım zira lavabonun etrafını kirli görmüş bunu hesabını sordu kötü bir deneyimdi eşim ile adımıza….Bu durumla ne Avrupa ne de Türkiye de ne de Vietnam’da ilk defa karşılaştım…

great location for the beach, but room was smaller than expected as well as the pool

location to the beach was great

Cons:

bed was very noisy, any movement would cause it to crack and make sounds, very annoying when trying to sleep. Also lots of noise from outside, was expecting it to be more soundproof.

Felt comfortable, home away from home, will sure book soon.
Pros:

Everything was great. Rooms were cleaned everyday, breakfast was good, staff was nice and helpful. Great location: few minutes away from My Khe beach, a lot of restaurants, convenient stores and ATM’s nearby.

Decent, good location, great breakfast.
Pros:

The bed is great and the linen is snowhite and comfortable. The breakfast is exceptionally variable, with a change of hot dishes daily, although not always these dishes fit European taste. The reception is welcoming and proactive in solving problems and requests. 5 min walk to the beach and popular restaurants.

Cons:

The room provided initially didn't have any view compared to pictures on the booking.com. But we were moved to the higher floor quite fast which had a side view to the sea and lady Buddha.
Quality of some food leaves much to be desired. Chef and cleaner always yelled at each other in front of the guests which is unacceptable. Cleaner lady in canteen was always throwing a tantrum and a towel arrogantly (literally and idiomatically) and yelling on the chef on top of her voice. Bad impression. Juice was always with ice, perhaps ice can be provided separately if customers want to have a cold drink.
Next to the hotel there's a night club with strong bass music operating daily until 3 am (bass is on until last customer leaves the club). It was tolerable but quite unpleasant to fall asleep.
There's no rack to dry towels or beach clothes.
Cleaning ladies didn't change dirty cups and spoons and didn't clean someone's long hair in the bathroom foot rug.
At the check in I wasted almost an hour due to their policy to take photo of a bank card which is not appropriate even with covering the card numbers. First time ever I met such a request. What if my friend paid for me or I left the card at home? That's is the key point, why I book on booking.com, to not carry too much cash, and to have safe bank operations proceeding. If the hotel encounters some scam it doesn't mean they should overcomplicate their guest's stay.
Finally, the gym would be much appreciated to have, as well as some nightstand lamp in the room.

Da Nang mittendrin
Pros:

Das Zimmer war angenehm groß, hatte ein Bad mit Duschbadewanne, eine leise Klimaanlage und vor allem einen 0 dB Kühlschrank. Absolut still das Ding. Schön war, dass man ein Fenster öffnen konnte. Moderner Laptop Safe. Von meinem Zimmer hatte ich Meerblick. Das Personal war super nett. Ich wurde nochmal 1 Tag vor Anreise per WhatsApp kontaktiert, um die Ankunftszeit zu erfragen. Klasse. Nebenan war gleich ein Minimarkt.
Über den SmartTV konnte ich mich mit meinem Netflix Account verbinden. Es gibt viele internationale Nachrichten Sender.

Cons:

Das Hotel liegt an einer viel befahrenen Hauptstraße und man hört doch etwas von dem Gehupe in der Stadt. Es gibt eine Rooftop Lounge nebenan und die hat ganz schön den Bass aufgedreht. Schräg rechts hat ein McDonald's aufgemacht. Es gibt bis spät in die Nacht viele Lieferdienst Bestellungen und die Jungs sind ziemlich gesprächig.
Das Frühstück ist eher asiatisch/chinesisch orientiert. Aber es gibt genug zum satt werden. Suppe, Gemüse und der Salat war frisch. Ist halt nur gewöhnungsbedürftig für morgens.
Was zu verbessern wäre - eine Glaswand an der Badewanne, damit beim Duschen nicht alles nass wird.
Wenn man ein Hotel mit Pool sucht, dann ist dies nicht die beste Wahl. Der Pool ist klein und es gibt nur 2 Liegen, keine Bar.
Einen Tag konnte ich mein Smartphone an keiner Steckdose laden. Es war wie verhext. Der junge Mitarbeiter war so freundlich und hat mir seinen Adapter geliehen (und die Sicherung war an).
Die Lampe über dem Kühlschrank hat keinen Ausschalter. Total verrückt. Die ging nur aus, wenn man die Sicherung ausgeschaltet. Leider funktioniert dann keine Steckdose mehr. Irgendwas ist da faul an der Elektrik.
Nachdem das Reinigungsteam da war, lag noch ein Haarbündel im Bad - nicht von mir.

The girls who work at the reception, are caring and attentive.

Cons:

The room was contantly humid, and the air conditioning wasn't clean. there wasn't enough air. We left the hotel five days early

Avoid the Ruby brand. Find somewhere else to stay.
Pros:

Location is good.
Restaurant breakfast is better than others we've had in Vietnam

Cons:

The Ruby Star Hotel is the most unwelcoming hotel we have ever stayed at. It starts before you arrive with the requirement to produce a photo of the exact credit card used in the booking, with the suggestion that you plan to not pay. Then on arrival, rather than a welcome, you get read the riot act (a list of rules and fines).
Then the room itself.
Hot water - sometimes.
Air-conditioner - really noisy.
Bathroom - glass walls in a family suite.
Power points - loose/not working. We had to get one replaced. It was sparking.
Bed - creaks every time you move.
