Lovely hotel a short drive from Potes. Very clean, high quality decor with an outdoor swimming pool. We had a very comfortable stay. There was a good variety of cold meats, cereals, fruit and cakes for breakfast. They will cook scrambled eggs on request.
The wine tour was really good, highly recommended.

Cons:

We had a Jacuzzi bath with a shower over. However, the glass partition was not big enough to prevent soaking the bathroom floor during a shower and it was too hot for a bath.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay however we thought it was a little pricey.

De ligging en het appartement waren prima in orde. Heerlijk zwembad. Verse eitjes van eigen kippen lagen klaar in ons keukentje. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet. Prachtig uitzicht!! Heerlijk zitje in het raamkozijn van appartement 7.

Cons:

We hoorden wel de bovenburen veel lopen en praten en meubilair verschuiven maar dat heb je bij houten vloeren van een oude finca. Wat ons opviel was dat er alleen maar Nederlanders waren. Een airco in de slaapkamer zou welkom zijn.

'A Hidden Gem in de Picos de Europe!
Pros:

Onze twee nachten bij Finca Malvasía waren een van de hoogtepunten van onze roadtrip door Spanje. Van al onze stops op de roadtrip was dit zonder twijfel de plek waar we ons het meest thuis voelden.

De ligging is werkelijk prachtig. We verbleven hier om een dag te wandelen bij Fuente Dé in de indrukwekkende Picos de Europa, en elke ochtend werden we wakker met zonlicht dat door de ramen viel en de bergen rondom in een gouden gloed zette. Alleen al daarvoor zouden we terugkomen.

Maar wat deze plek echt bijzonder maakt, is María. Je voelt dat zij haar hart en ziel in deze finca heeft gelegd. Ze verwelkomt haar gasten met oprechte warmte en gastvrijheid. Tijdens het ontbijt bereidde ze met veel liefde allerlei authentieke lekkernijen, waaronder heerlijke zelfgebakken koekjes en andere lokale specialiteiten. Ze wilde zo graag dat iedereen genoot, en dat maakte het ontbijt extra bijzonder.

María vertelde ons ook eerlijk hoeveel werk er komt kijken bij het onderhouden van zo'n prachtige finca. Juist die openheid maakte indruk op ons. Achter deze mooie plek staat iemand die jarenlang met toewijding heeft gezorgd voor haar gasten en haar huis. Dat verdient bewondering.

Voor wie op zoek is naar rust, natuur, authenticiteit en een warm welkom in de Picos de Europa: Finca Malvasía is een verborgen parel. Wij bewaren er prachtige herinneringen aan en hopen dat María nog lang mag genieten van alle waardering die zij zo verdient.
