Important information:

Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. Nous reviendrons très vite.
Pros:

Troisième séjour au Maxims. Notre paradis à TLV : emplacement, roof top, petit déjeuner…(et miklat en sous sol; très pratique et rassurant).

Excellent location. Staff very helpful. Lots of guests here to volunteer so easy comradeship in the lobby and at breakfast.

Cons:

Breakfast a bit sparse compared to other small hotels I have stayed in Israel.

I'm glad I stayed there.
Pros:

Location, staff and breakfast were great. It was a good value.

Cons:

The room was small without much view or window, but i did get the cheapest room for one, so that's ok.

I would definitely stay here again as it's a great place to be.
Pros:

A fantastic community feel. It was a joy staying here as there were so many interesting people to meet and chat to. There is a community atmosphere that is delightful.

Cons:

The rooms are small but comfortable and clean. I'd stay here again even though I prefer more room. The atmosphere is so good.

Pros:

Room was adequate and comfortable as a single traveler, location was fabulous, breakfast was fresh and delicious. Happy hour was a very nice touch and also delicious. The other guests were friendly and comfortable to be around. Very nice vibe in this small hotel.

Cons:

There was construction going on at the building next door all night long. The noise kept me up all night. I tried to close the windows and turn on the air conditioner to create some background noise (and to cool off the room, which was quite warm), but the only temperature control available was heat. It appears that the A/C had been shut off for the winter.
