DENGI INN EL NIDO

Arriviamo all’hotel alle 06.30 del mattino dopo un viaggio lungo e straziante. Eravamo sfiniti. Il ragazzo che ci ha accolto non è stato affatto accogliente. Anziché chiederci se avessimo avuto bisogno di un bicchiere d’acqua, un caffè, la toilette, ha esordito in malo modo dicendo che avremmo potuto fare il check-in anticipato al costo di 200 pesos, che sebbene fosse una miseria per noi, abbiamo rifiutato di proposito per quanto siamo rimasti male dell’accoglienza. Siamo rimasti così male che abbiamo pensato seriamente di cambiare hotel, pur perdendo i soldi di quel pernottamento. Poi ci siamo calmati e abbiamo cambiato idea.
La colazione è davvero misera e con poca scelta.

Deberían de poner cortinas en la ducha, y un separador del agua en el suelo, algunas habitaciones lo tienen pero otras no.

Small and room is small and no hot water

Notre séjour a malheureusement été très décevant. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons rencontré un problème majeur : l’eau chaude. Nous avons dû demander à deux reprises l’intervention du personnel. Résultat : soit l’eau devenait brûlante puis froide d’un coup, soit nous n’avions que de l’eau froide. Impossible de prendre une douche correcte pendant tout le séjour.
Le lit grinçait au moindre mouvement, ce qui a rendu les nuits très compliquées. La chambre ne disposait que d’une seule prise accessible : nous avons dû déplacer la télévision pour pouvoir utiliser la deuxième prise, ce qui n’est pas normal pour un hôtel de ce type.
Nous leur avions également confié nos vêtements pour une lessive. Au moment de les récupérer, plusieurs pièces manquaient. Quand nous l’avons signalé, on nous a simplement demandé de “compter ce qu’il manque”, alors que nos affaires étaient déjà rangées et qu’il était difficile de tout retracer. Après plusieurs relances, nous avons finalement récupéré nos affaires le lendemain, mais cette gestion a été très approximative et stressante.

When we arrived, we were not given the Deluxe room we had paid for, but a lower-category room. Only after complaining was the room changed the next day, without any refund for the first night, which was still charged as Deluxe.
The room was not cleaned for two days, even though we left early every morning around 9:00 a.m. for tours.
The hot water in the shower was a constant issue. We had to call the technician every time, and at one point the water suddenly turned cold while I was showering.
The Wi-Fi does not work in the rooms at all. To have a connection, you need to stay outside the room or go down to the reception area.
Slippers are shared among all guests, which is not hygienic.
The room was very humid, windows cannot be opened, so the air conditioning must be on all the time — and it is extremely noisy.

Overall, the service and comfort did not match the price we paid.

Wall socket only on one side of the bed. A fridge in the room would be nice

Nous n’avons pas eu d’eau chaude durant notre séjour, plusieurs fois de l’eau marron, pas super quand on reviens de la plongée et qu’on a besoin de se douché. De plus une odeur malodorante se dégageait des canalisations.
L’accueil est très froid, la réceptionniste n’est pas très souriante! Ne font pas la chambre systématique, on dois le demander. J’ai demandé à faire la chambre on pris une serviette mais n’on pas remis de propre, obligé d’aller en demander une, et là on me dis qu’il y a plus de serviette propre.
Le wifi ne fonctionne pas très bien!

Wifi was not working, if the wifi is not working hotel management should fix right away. Bed sheets were worn out, they need to be replaced.
There was a kettle in my room that had an Australian plug, could not use because it had the wrong plug. I don’t understand why they have this kettle in the room, very strange and poor management.
