I would be prepared to stay again but I would expect L'Meridian to rectify some of the short-comings
Pros:

It was OK for 3-star accomodation. The air-conditioning was adequate during the day but at night it needed to have a silent mode, it is vital for guests to obtain adequate rest.

Cons:

I was disappointed with the breakfast. For me, this is the most important meal of the day and during my visit I was slowly recovering from illness so it was particularly important. The biggest turn-off was the failure to offer cereals, e.g. Muesli, along with some fruit yoghurt - and where was all the fresh fruit?? All I had was a single slice of under-ripe watermelon but I would have preferred a selection of ripe watermelon, pineapple, papaya chunks. A fatty, meaty breakfast doesn't suit everyone's palate. Zamboanga is rich in produce so there really is no excuse. I was quite annoyed that the airport shuttle service wasn't operating which forced me to have to use the thoroughly obnoxious 3-wheeler's - noisy, too expensive and the fumes are toxic. The front entrance really needs an attractive re-build to entice visitors in, as well as to shield them from excessive traffic noise and fumes, maybe a mini-garden to transition into the interior. It would be nice to have paper maps of Zamboanga available.
