Friendly staff
Thin walls
Great location, comfy room
Limited options for breakfast
Läget
Vi betalade extra för ett deluxe rum men det va som en bunker inget fönster litet, tycker verkligen inte det var värt något extra. Personalen är sura och ointresserade tycker allt e jobbigt.
The room I got was the balcony room
It was very nice and clean
The view of the mountain landscape was wonderful from the balcony
I highly recommend this place in El Nido! The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. They also offer island-hopping tours and motorbike rentals, which makes exploring easier. The staff are friendly and accommodating, and there’s free and secure parking available right outside the hotel.
The breakfast was genuinely good, and the staff were absolutely amazing — friendly, helpful, and really the best part of the entire stay
For the amount of money we paid, this stay was extremely disappointing. The room had no window, which made it feel suffocating, and there was a constant unpleasant smell. There was no hot water, the bed was uncomfortable, and the toilet became blocked within 24 hours and almost flooded. The so-called “smart TV” wasn’t smart at all and barely functioned. We were so dissatisfied that we left two days earlier than planned.
The only good things were the breakfast, which was actually very nice, and the staff, who were amazing — truly the best part of the whole place.
Honestly, I have no idea what kind of “renovation” they claim to have done, because the condition of the room certainly didn’t show it.
Overall, definitely not worth the price, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
My stay was lovely. The staff always greeted me with a smile. The room was nice and clean. I would definitely recommend.
Everything was very good
Nothing to be appreciated, extremely noisy with single glass windows that don’t even close. Nonstop traffic during the night making it impossible to sleep.
So so dirty that you get the feeling that you shouldn’t touch anything, including the bed… the bathroom gets completely flooded and the room full of humidity, which explains the moldy smell as soon as you enter the building. Avoid at all costs, even if there is nothing left.
The staff were really great, accommodating and helpful.
There were ants in our beds, the cover and bedding did not seem particularly clean. During the whole stay my partner did not even cover herself and had to buy something to lay on the bed for her to be able to sleep in it. Both my partner and sister had skin rashes from laying on those covers. The CR wasn't that clean.
There's no TV and not even an iron in the rooms.
Juste en sortie du centre ville, pratique en scooter.
Hotel plutôt moderne, et bien équipé, et propre.
Fait rare, la climatisation était silencieuse!
The overall experience at this hotel was disappointing. The room had very poor sound insulation, making it difficult to sleep, as noise from neighboring rooms and air-conditioning units was clearly audible.
The mattress was uncomfortable due to damaged springs. In addition, the bathroom and toilet did not appear hygienic or well maintained.
Considering the price of €70 per night for a standard room, the quality provided does not meet expectations.
Based on this experience, it is unclear how the hotel maintains a 7.0 rating on Booking.com.
The place dirty
It was conveniently close to downtown, air conditioned room, comfy bed and clean linens/sheets, the staff were amazing, super accommodating, helpful and nice. Lots of stores, shops and food nearby, great location!
Sometimes the water and power would go off but that happens everywhere so no worries
Thank you, Mayad Hotel, for the very accommodating staff and the cleanliness of the room.
Worth what you pay for. Nice place with very helpful and accommodating staff, especially Kemme, Liway, and Jessable. Thanks for the good service!
The location was close to all restaurants and bars and tour departure point. Just bring a gas mask for the sewage smell from the toilet pipes. Maybe bring some S bends to show management
This was a last-minute booking due to flight changes.
There was a strong sewage smell from the sink and shower drains, which worsened when taps were used. After two days, I felt unwell. This is a serious health concern, especially while sleeping. Even the lobby toilet smelled bad.
The sink had extremely low water pressure, making basic hygiene difficult. Water drained poorly, and shower water flooded the toilet area. The shower had soap scum build-up. No hand soap was provided, and only two small toothpaste tubes were left.
Housekeeping only replaced towels; coffee and tea were not refilled. There was a kettle but no spoon (I used the straw to mix my coffee), coffee, sugar, or milk. Towels had bleach patches.
The manager checked in via message, which was appreciated, but during busy tourist periods, cleanliness and smells need better oversight. Travellers are on holiday to relax, and strong odours should not be an issue.
We were also assisted in booking a private tour, but after information was shared, the price increased from 12,000 to 20,000 pesos, and we were advised to arrange it ourselves, which felt unprofessional.
The beds were clean, the staff were polite, and the location was convenient. If you are on a very strict budget, this may be acceptable. Sadly, the drainage system and hygiene need serious improvement.
