Pros:

We had booked The Artist House for 16–17 August, but upon arrival, the hotel manager informed us that there was no booking under my name. We immediately contacted Expedia, and your team provided an alternative hotel option, Traavista Surya Mahal, and booked it for us. However, when we reached the given location, the property turned out to be The Castle Mewar, not Traavista Surya Mahal. The staff there told us that no such hotel exists in Udaipur, and local residents also confirmed the same. We spent the entire day with our 3-year-old child trying to locate this hotel, but no one had ever heard of it. On further inspection, we realized that the property shown on Expedia under the name “Traavista Surya Mahal” was actually The Castle Mewar, with the same photos but under a fake name. This clearly indicates a fraudulent listing on your platform. The experience caused us immense mental stress and suffering, and we lost around ₹25,000. We also learned that other families faced similar issues with the same property. We request you to urgently investigate this fraud, remove the fake listing, and provide us with a full refund at the earliest.
