The Bank House is Dog Friendly and there is no charge for Dogs staying in the Bank House. While the guests are very welcome to use the main hotel, the main hotel is not Dog Friendly.

Pros:

The bed was comfortable

Cons:

The room was very poor. The carpet/chairs stained, the walls were marked and damaged in many places. The spa steam room had mould in it, and the pool chairs were dirty.

Tiny thing, but suggest you put a notice by Bank House doors guiding new arrivals to check in at Scotland's Hotel.

Jolie bâtisse dans une jolie ville

Cons:

Télévision posée en équilibre sur 2 petits meubles qui auraient été beaucoup plus pratique si utilisé pour libérer de la place sur le bureau. D’autant plus que cette télévision condamnait l’accès à la penderie.
Salle de bain avec aucun emplacement pour poser affaires personnelles. Les verres à eau posés sur chasse d’eau des WC (pas hygiénique). Ménage bâclé (cacahouètes découvertes derrières tables de nuits en cherchant prise électrique), poussière etc…

Pros:

The restaurant staff were excellent and couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy with our food. Very friendly too.

Had a brilliant time in the hotel and will definitely be booking there again
Pros:

The space in the room and bathroom was brilliant .We were in room 405 ground floor which was very convenient with the dog and close proximity to small garden. Breakfast was superb with a great choice of hot or continental food. Pool was perfect place to come to after a days activities. I had a special May spa deal with Charlotte and she got all the right spots on the massage. The facial was also very relaxing.The hotel is also very well placed for the high street about a 2 minute walk.

Cons:

I personally would have liked the shower to be a little hotter but it was fine for my husband.

Pros:

A very quiet room, didn't hear anyone, plenty of parking, great location. Bed was made each morning. Fantastic selection of breakfast.

Cons:

Bathroom was a bit tired looking, bedroom could do with redecoration. Hot water went off one morning but was fixed when we reported it.

Disappointing!
Pros:

Breakfast was the only high point

Cons:

Room quality. Shower water pressure very poor. Electrical plugs very poorly situated. Decor tired. Property was not adjacent to the main Hotel. Could not possible recommend to anyone else visiting Pitlochry.

Nice stay and would stay again due to location but would not recommend as being dog friendly.

Location of property is great

Cons:

I wouldn’t say it is dog friendly. Our choices for breakfast were 1. Eat separately in hotel. 2. Bring food back to the room and eat off the bed or our knees.
Taking food back to the room would not be supported by a member of staff. So juggling breakfast for 2 and opening doors while navigating the outside weather then going up a flight of stairs and more doors wasn’t easy. Option 3 leaves dogs in the room.
I would suggest to the hotel that there really should be a corner in the hotel away from hotel guests that bank house residents with dogs can sit and have breakfast sitting at a table.
