The Bank House is Dog Friendly and there is no charge for Dogs staying in the Bank House. While the guests are very welcome to use the main hotel, the main hotel is not Dog Friendly.

Pros:

Lovely location, quiet, spacious and comfortable room

Cons:

The shower over the bath was useless. No water pressure at all, it trickled out. So neither of us really could have a shower.

We actually loved our stay and the breakfast was good , found it a bit overpriced for what you get

Cons:

The room was lovely , not situated in hotel a small 2 min walk so not a problem , couple of cleanliness issues , the cups were dirty , hair and bits in them and the bathroom door was covered in what looked like toothpaste that had been sprayed on it and dirty hand prints

Disgraceful
Cons:

The toilet and the water in the bathroom did not work. This is completely unacceptable as we were staying with two young children. We had booked the stay to celebrate a family birthday and it was ruined by this. When we mentioned it to the staff they were aware of it and said it was always like that. This is so disappointing as we had paid money for this hotel. Running water and a toilet are a basic necessity. This room is not fit for purpose and should not be available.

I am extremely disappointed that our stay was ruined for what was an avoidable problem.

Couldn't find the entrance to hotel. Eventally found it after q5 mins of looking around with cases. Need to describe the location..The jacuzzi was very short 2 mins per session. The swimming costume spin drier was not operating safely.

Not good for pets
Pros:

Good location and friendly staff.

Cons:

This property isn't really pet friendly. You can stay in Bank House with your pet but you cannot go to the main building of the hotel with your pet at all. This means, there ia no pet friendly section at the bar / restaurant / lobby so it's not possible to have food there if you want to bring your pet. We had to go take our breakfast on a tray and bring it back to the room in Bank House which is actually across the street so there's a bit of a walk outside too.
EV charger at the hotel was also not working and I couls not get support to fix it during the weekend.
Broken toilet seat at the room, extractor fan not working and lighting in the room was extremely poor.

Pitlochry is a beautiful place but I’d choose a different hotel.
Pros:

Breakfast was fantastic, as were the staff.

Cons:

We weren’t in the main hotel but a building across the road, room was freezing and radiator even on full didn’t heat it up, parking at the hotel was pretty poor but there was a festival on that weekend and it was busier than usual we were told.

Pros:

Cons:

No parking to unload at annex lots of trips to car. The Spa was dissappointing no Sauna and Steam room didnt work first day.

Great staff made the stay so pleasant.
Pros:

The staff could not have been more helpful. Also the breakfast was first class as was the breakfast staff, friendly and very pleasant.

Cons:

Nothing all in all it was a pleasant experience.

Okay but a bit pricey for what it is.

They didn't tell us steam room was out of order

Pitlochry is a delightful town. Buzzing with tourists.
Pros:

The room was clean and provided a coffee pod machine.

Cons:

Our rooms were separate to the hotel. Instructions to find our accommodation was confusing due to language difficulties.
