Bank House is a separate building from the main Scotland's Spa Hotel.
All facilities like bar and restaurant are in the main hotel but guest staying in the Bank House are very welcome to use the facilities as the please.
The Bank House is Dog Friendly and there is no charge for Dogs staying in the Bank House. While the guests are very welcome to use the main hotel, the main hotel is not Dog Friendly.
Liked the location to the main street.
Hotel was good , breakfast was nice.staff were friendly.
The fact the bathroom had mold due to extractor fan not working.
The swimming pool was like a fishbowl as u can see from the bar area didnt like that it put me off. Maybe put up frosted glass.
On arrival we were greeted by lovely warm staff, the facilities were good. The bank house is an annex to the main hotel meaning it is quieter and less busy, the hotel is in a fantastic location and excellent value for money. The bed was very comfy, probably the best sleep we had all week!
Some of the facilities were looking a little tired, for example some of the grout in our shower was discoloured and the changing room for the pool had some spots of mould on the ceiling.
Close town it was perfect
Room was a little tired looking but for the price you can’t complain.
Close to amenities and drive locations
Checkin located at another location
Dirty - decorative cusion on bed had mud on it. Room smelled bad. Coffee cup had lipstick on it so hadnt been cleaned property. Curtains could do with replacing as they were threadbare. Shower tub mouldy, could use a good scrub...
The staff were friendly.
Dogs barking from room across from mine CONSTANTLY! Bath mat & one of the towels used to be white, now brown stained…and general cleanliness bad. Between hairs, crumbs, bits of rubbish, etc in the room. Really disappointing because the main hotel is nice, friendly staff and great location let down by the above!
Good location.
no signage to show where rooms were.
shower absolutely horrendous no water pressure.
Pretty central. Very clean and staff very helpful
Nothing
The breakfast was excellent. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The room did have a couple of cobwebs in it and was a little tired, but still very pleasant.
Location great, staff friendly, room facilities not clean and not functioning properly
Room unclean, mould in bathroom and hair / dirt everywhere. Shower not very warm or strong. Facilities old and overused.
Rooms are nicely decorated, king room very spacious. Robes and slippers included as well as large bath towels, coffee machine, tv etc
Beds are solid, didn’t manage to sleep a wink. Stayed with my partner in a king room and my parents stayed in a double room and the 4 of us left sore and exhausted from how uncomfortable the beds were. The showers are also terrible, the water dribbles out no matter what setting you turn the head to, water barely covers you, you’d be as well having a wash at the spa in the main hotel.
Great location, easy check in and friendly welcome. Breakfast good
The bedroom was a little tired but the bed comfortable. The pool was very busy and changing rooms a bit grubby. This is not the place to go for a relaxing spa day
Good variety of food on offer for breakfast. The breakfast staff were polite and well organised keeping tables cleared and food / plates and bowls replenished.
The afternoon receptionist on duty when we checked in - Friday 3rd April 2026 - was surly and unwelcoming. The morning receptionist on 4th April (with possibly a French accent) was much more friendly but sadly we only saw her as we were checking out . The whole place was grimy and generally looked uncared for- especially the leisure facilities, which was a surprise and not at all what you would expect from Scotland’s Spa Hotel!! I couldn’t imagine wanting to spend a £150 plus on having a relaxing spa day there only to have to look at the dirt on the floor, the mould on the walls and the overflowing towel bins. Simple things like not being able to fix / pin your locker key to your swimming costume because all the keys had lost the fixture part meant the experience was disappointing. As for the hotel as a whole; bits of the roof round the velux window are falling down in the corridors of the Bank annexe, there was glass on the floor in the ladies changing room and pretty much every door and wall was chipped and needed to be painted. In general it looked scruffy and uncared for - like the manager hadn’t been around and about checking the state of the place and yet every issue could have been dealt with relatively easily and inexpensively. It’s a wonder why they haven’t addressed them. It’s a shame that it failed to meet our expectations as we were really looking forward to staying.
It was close to the centre of Pitlochry. The pool was a lovely addition to entertain the children and breakfast was great.
We stayed in the house over the road from the hotel. Next door was what we assumed was staff accommodation. All hours of the day and night there were men stood underneath our window smoking. Often in dressing gowns and playing music. It wasn’t a nice experience.
Perfect location, quiet, comfortable warm room, nice friendly staff
Like everything
The location is good
Never looked to clean the room or change the towels the 3 days that we were there. Had to go to reception and ask for this to be fixed . And got a very frosty reply from two members of staff . Will definitely not return.
Lovely location, quiet, spacious and comfortable room
The shower over the bath was useless. No water pressure at all, it trickled out. So neither of us really could have a shower.
The accommodation was excellent.
