I was so impressed with the beauty of the space and the first night I got there that has a recital dinner performance and I sat for the offering and I do t think I’ve ever gotten goosebumps from food before. The dinner was simply divine and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I won’t stay anywhere else when I travel to Tulum! 10+++ of and the “wellness tower” which consisted of a yoga shall on the top floor and a full gym on the bottom floor was where I spent a lot of time and it was also on point!
The only thing that I can think of is that I had to wash my own towels but that is very common in Mexico to have to do your own laundry so I didn’t think too much of it :)
The place was nice, unfinished in parts but livable. Construction work is on going but can be tuned out when you are the pool
Despite being told we would not be charged the deposit and getting a recipient to say as much they still charged the card AFTER we left. Exchanges with them over WhatsApp came across as helpful but ultimately after 2 weeks of talking about refunding the card they still have not. Now in the hands of the credit card company.
Friendly staff
Very good location. Just off the street of the town and the main stretch to the beach. Walkable to restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies.
The staff were always helpful for making plans and finding transportation.
The onsite restaurant was delicious and lively.
Need more chairs around the pool. We were often left without anywhere to sit.
Beautiful property, easy central location in a quiet area of Tulum! Pool is gorgeous and grounds are well maintained. Parking is a breeze. Carlos and Brenda are very sweet and helpful!
Our unit (202) in building D had no Aircon for the duration of our stay. They sent someone out on the 3rd day to “fix” it which was unsuccessful, he just switched the breaker and said it was fixed, LOL it was not. My second request for a repair was ignored, so we spent 5 nights without AC. We were forced to sleep with the doors wide open resulted in poor sleep because it was 80F and 90% humidity in the unit. Also crying children and barking dogs at all hours echoed through out the building. Please invest in a cloths drying rack and “normal” coffee maker for guests.
Peaceful, beautiful & comfortable. Lush greenery, outside spaces well looked after. Staff were friendly
Outside the apartment complex, the streets are quiet and no light at night, so it doesn't feel safe to walk into town. Okay during the day.
The staff was amazing, the food was amazing, the grounds are very beautiful
The pool could’ve been warmer, I had to switch rooms because the TV did not work, which was not a big deal, was sent to a different room that had a mildew smell and didn’t overlook the pool like the first room. I had a view of the parking lot
Very nice and new apartment
A bit of construction work going on but the owner took very nice care of it
Property was large and clean. Had all amenities and everything we needed. Lovely staff and recommendations to nice authentic restaurants. Location good, 10 minutes drive to central or beach.
Reception was unable to check us in our room for at least 45 minutes as the door code and keys wouldn’t work. After travelling it wasn’t what we expected but the staff were accommodating and finally got us in with the managers key. The bed also had very hard large pillows, so we slept with towels instead as reception had no other pillows. Also building work going on which can be heard from the rooftop, but they don’t work evenings or Sundays, so at least our rooftop pool felt private at night.
We love the place and the facilities and the staff attention to solve our questions and needs. .
The only inconvenience was at our kitchen and bathroom. Dishes and utensils were dirty, even after reporting the situation, and had someone to take care of our complaint. They were dirty, had food residues, dry salsa, and greasy finger prints. We had to wash everything by ourselves before using anything. Bathroom clean, spacious, and fully functional, but all the towels smelled weird and left a powdery residue on our skin, we had to shower again and use clothes to dry ourselves. We bought towels at Chedrahui because they were not replaced.
Everything was amazing. I would especially like to thank to Maria for her warm approach and helpfulness.
The kitchen it would be nice to have a small cooking vessel, dishwashing sponge and a cloth.
Staying at Aflora Tulum was an incredible experience for me. One of the main reasons I enjoyed it was its perfect location—close enough to the hotel zone for convenience, yet far enough to escape the city's hustle and bustle. This balance allowed for a relaxing and peaceful stay.
The on-site restaurant was a highlight of my visit, offering delicious meals that added to the overall enjoyment. Additionally, the amenities, including the pool and gym, were phenomenal, providing excellent options for both relaxation and fitness.
The staff at Aflora Tulum also made a significant impact on my experience. They were extremely helpful and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met and enhancing the overall quality of my stay.
Make sure you bring mosquito spray if you are prone to being bit :)
The pool is amazing and the staff are very accommodating.
It is still unfinished so there is building going on through the day and the noise is noticeable.
Beautiful and brand new property conveniently located in Aldea Zama.
The towels are not very soft
