Amazing location and views from balcony, can see the valley , mountain, Teesta river and clouds. This hotel is a viewpoint itself, you can sit in the balcony and spend endless hours there staring at the valley. The staff is very cooperative and goes the extra mile. Fantastic experience over all in the 4 days that we were there.
The food prices at the restaurant are just not affordable. Had to plan for breakfast and dinner outside, in fact the hotel nearby provides breakfast and dinner at reasonable prices
If you want to stay away from the busy and closed corridors of mountain towns like Kalimpong, a 15 min drive up away from town centre is where you will find this piece of heaven. 5 minutes away is the park for a brisk walk and walk down 15 to 20 minutes to hitch a ride in shared taxi to town.
The room had a beautiful view of the mountains and a balcony to take it all in. Breakfast is great to bring in a new day. We got value for our money. Simple, splendid, serene.
The team however is what makes the stay special and holiday feels relaxed. A big thanks to debashish and smita from reception for accommodating our needs. Trisa and Abhishek you have fed us with so much care and kindness. Anjali, gitanjali, elisa the rooms felt like home because you kept it immaculate. I wish you all the very best.

Cold breakfast items, there was no mini refrigerator in the room, not so clean towels, approach road to the property
The breathtaking mountain views and peaceful ambiance made it truly special. The warm hospitality and attentive service made us feel completely at home throughout our visit.
Peaceful and calm surrounding. Comes with a spectacular view of the Kangchenjunga range.
Food was great. Smita at front desk was very helpful with the local recommendations. All the staff members are friendly and polite.

Except the view from the room, everything else was crap. Don't waste your money. I went post the floods so there was no power and wifi, which is understandable. However, all of kalimpong got their power and wifi sorted in a day or two but not this place. Didn't even get a discount or refund due to inconvenience. Only a small compensation dinner which was basically a list of food seperate from the a main menu. It contained only 4 food options that too they don't tell you from before only when you get to ordering you'll be shown this tiny menu with barely any food. Horrible experience overall.

Giving a genuine review, The woodsy stay was perfect. Their behaviour was so kind and generous and friendly. There was a dog who was friendly equally. The room was good for all weather cos its made from pine wood and you can feel every footstep. Wash room was sharable but cleaned at its best. No doubt they maintained the property to the fullest. Food was also nice cos its totally organic and delicious. Food price is reasonable. Just one thing is the road. The road is way too down so if you are coming by bike then be very cautious.Overall no doubt superb experience.
Just one thing, there was no garage for parking bike.

The breakfast menu was not great. Service was slow and haphazard. Asked for tea without sugar still they gave me tea with sugar
