A Memorable Mountain Escape at Summit Sherpa Mountain Hotel & Spa

Pros:

Peaceful and calm surrounding. Comes with a spectacular view of the Kangchenjunga range.
Food was great. Smita at front desk was very helpful with the local recommendations. All the staff members are friendly and polite.

Cons:

Except the view from the room, everything else was crap. Don't waste your money. I went post the floods so there was no power and wifi, which is understandable. However, all of kalimpong got their power and wifi sorted in a day or two but not this place. Didn't even get a discount or refund due to inconvenience. Only a small compensation dinner which was basically a list of food seperate from the a main menu. It contained only 4 food options that too they don't tell you from before only when you get to ordering you'll be shown this tiny menu with barely any food. Horrible experience overall.

Pros:

Giving a genuine review, The woodsy stay was perfect. Their behaviour was so kind and generous and friendly. There was a dog who was friendly equally. The room was good for all weather cos its made from pine wood and you can feel every footstep. Wash room was sharable but cleaned at its best. No doubt they maintained the property to the fullest. Food was also nice cos its totally organic and delicious. Food price is reasonable. Just one thing is the road. The road is way too down so if you are coming by bike then be very cautious.Overall no doubt superb experience.

Cons:

Just one thing, there was no garage for parking bike.

Pros:

Location is good. Nice view of the hills and the Rangit river from the balcony

Cons:

The breakfast menu was not great. Service was slow and haphazard. Asked for tea without sugar still they gave me tea with sugar

To find the hotel follow google maps. The location is not properly marked with the booking map and completely wrong marked in Apple Maps.

Overall worth the money given its location and proximity to Delo gardens. And the amazing view you can get.
Pros:

The property is located very close to Delo gardens which we visited everyday . It had amazing views of kanchenjunga and Teesta river from our rooms.

Cons:

All facilities were made available, do carry your own toiletries since its not provided. I wish they had a fan , their Door bell sound was annoying and unnecessary. Otherwise no major conerns.
