Pros:

Los empleados lo mejor del alojamiento, siempre dispuestos a ayudar y con una sonrisa en la boca. Especialmente muchas gracias a Ella y Mia, tuvimos un problema con el vuelo y nos ofrecieron llamar a la compañía y ponerse en contacto con ellos.
La localización también está genial, en medio del Old Quarter. Sin duda sin vuelvo a Hanoi volveré a quedarme en este hotel.

Die Lage des Hotels war hervorragend. Sehr freundliches Personal.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber: Überall fremde Haare am Boden, benutzte Zahnbürste und Haargummi lag im Badezimmer. Das Zimmer + Bettwäsche war sehr feucht und daher war Schimmel überall sichtbar.

Die Lage ist wunderbar. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Das Zimmer ohne Fenster sollte man auf keinen Fall nehmen und die Dachterrasse ist offen, aber unbespielt.

Cons:

Nichts für Jetlag, Kater oder entspannte Nächte. Die 16 qm waren vielleicht 11,5 qm.

Don’t go. Location and staff are great. But everything else is a disaster.
Pros:

I loved the staff. They were friendly and helpful. The location is close to the night life if that’s what you’re after.

Cons:

The hotel is falling apart. The shower faucet is broken, the bathroom light is broken, the floor dips, there are stains on the walls and ceilings. There is no sound insulation. You will hear everything that’s happening inside and outside the hotel. The market opens at 5am with sound blasting. Anything that had wood trim was getting eaten severely by termites. The management knows the issues, and during checkout without saying anything they mentioned the termite damage asked that we leave a positive review and gave us free parting gift.

Just fix your hotel and the good reviews will come without bribes. It’s frustrating because I relied on these positive reviews to choose this hotel. I feel tricked and hope this review will lead to change.

NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL!!!
Pros:

If this review were based on staff alone, I would happily give five stars. Ella and her colleagues couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. They went out of their way to make our stay as smooth as possible, organising airport transfers, recommending places to visit, arranging meals, massages, pedicures and manicures, and so much more. Their hard work, warmth, and constant smiles were genuinely appreciated, and they are the only reason this hotel has any redeeming qualities.

Cons:

Unfortunately, friendly staff alone does not make a four‑star hotel, and in this case, the staff were the only positive aspect. I’m not sure what rating system is used in Vietnam, but this establishment is not a four star property. In truth, I would struggle to give it any stars at all. It feels more like a neglected hostel than a hotel.

The first impression was worrying: the entrance sofa had ripped covers, and the overall atmosphere felt abandoned. Our room was no better. The curtains didn’t close properly, the air smelled mouldy, and there were ants everywhere. Paint was peeling off the walls, and the entire place desperately needs a full repaint and refurbishment. The bathroom continued the theme, mouldy tiles and old, flimsy towels that had clearly seen better days.

On our final night, we went up to the rooftop to enjoy the view, which was indeed lovely, but the bar was closed and there was no staff around, so even that experience fell flat.

It’s with a heavy heart that I write this review, because the staff truly deserve praise. They are the only five star element of this hotel. However, the current four star rating on Booking.com is misleading and does not reflect the actual condition of the property. Future guests should be aware that aside from the exceptional team, this hotel falls far below the standard it claims to offer.

The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. The location was very central. The bed was comfortable.

The roof top bar didn't appear to be set up. There were some ants in the room, the hotel.were very apologetic.
