Pros:

The hotel owner runs a restaurant downstairs and he is very patient and friendly. The hotel is close to bus stops and Tram stations. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe.

Cons:

The hotel is close to the road and there was some traffic noise at night. I wore earplugs so it didn't bother me much.

Wir haben ein Zimmer über booking gebucht. Und als wir spät abends angekommen sind, sagte man uns man habe keine Zimmer mehr frei und wir sollten gehen. Als ich dann sagte ich habe das Zimmer bereits bezahlt und dass ich eine Reservierung habe, wurde ich angemeckert dass das nicht sein kann und dass sie nunmal keine Zimmer mehr haben. Nach langem diskutieren und abstreiten dass ich eine Reservierung habe hatte man uns doch im System gefunden und uns trotzdem kein Zimmer gegeben. Ich habe mein Geld zurück verlangt und mit Widerwillen hat man mir mein Geld gegeben und ich musste zusehen wo ich bleibe. Keine Tipps wo ich sonst ein Zimmer finde keine Hilfe bei irgendwas. Nur unfreundlich frech und respektlos. NIE WIEDER !

The toilet and the room was clean.

Cons:

The bed was bad, more like a three seater sofa. The receptiontionist, you have to call the staff. For a foreigner with no internet or local simcard, it's difficult. The receptionist is not always available.

Good location, free car park. Restaurant on site

Cons:

No receptionist, on arrival you have to phone the owner for him to come to you. Room 2, 1st floor. Can hear the traffic outside with the window closed. Not double glazed so you can hear everything. Kept awake most of the night. Got some sleep when the traffic stopped but was soon woke up early in the morning. Not worth the £61 I paid.

Cons:

Erhelblich zu teuer für den Zustand des Hauses und des Zimmers, das bei Ankunft kalt wie ein Kühlschrank war. Kein Wunder bei Fenstern von ca. 1960.

Ich hatte zum zweiten Mal einen Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Hotel-Restaurant. Wer eine relativ ruhige Umgebung in HD sucht, dazu mit guter Verkehrsanbindung und das zum fairen Preis, wird nicht enttäuscht werden. Die Ausstattung im gesamten Hoteltrakt ist liebevoll, rustikal, mit vielen gemütlichen Möbeln und Details. In einem historischen Gebäude können Sie nicht zwangsläufig mit Barrierefreiheit rechnen, es gibt keinen Aufzug. Wenn Sie die Treppen nicht scheuen, werden Sie mit einem angenehmen Aufenthalt belohnt.

Ich komme gerne wieder.
