Pros:

Location molto bella, immersa nel verde e con camere molto curate. Lo staff è sempre stato molto gentile, venendo incontro a tutte le nostre richieste. La posizione è molto comoda per raggiungere il mercato della domenica e per visitare il centro della città! Cibo buono e, nonostante fossero presenti dei set fissi, hanno accontentato le nostre richieste!

Très beau logement dans un cadre superbe
Pros:

Très joli logement avec baignoire de pleine air (mais en hiver pas utilisée). Lits chauffants, plus utiles en hivers. Belle construction au calme dans un très beau jardin.

Merveilleux séjour un grand metci pour votre accueil

Un petit paradis terrestre , un charme incroyable un jardin bucolique et un potager comme dans les contes de fées , endroit superbe avec un accueil tres tres chaleureux

Highly recommend this to my friends and anyone who is a respectful traveller.
Pros:

Quiet. Excellent food. Great beds and bedding. Great shower. Great staff. Love the views and gardens. A wonderful retreat. Really helpful booking excursions and finding driver to markets etc.

Cons:

Sorry I have to go home. If someone comes to party or disrespect other guests’ choice of a quiet, rural stay, it will wreck the place. This is not a hotel for noisy people. Anyone else who wants a lovely place to stay and are respectful - this is the place.

Piękne otoczenie przyrody. Dobra baza wypadowa i w góry i do miasta np. na słynny niedzielny targ w Bac Ha. Podgrzewane łóżka w zimie są wspaniałe i po górskich wędrówkach pozwalają na komfortowy odpoczynek. Pyszne jedzenie, zwłaszcza zupa Pho i zupa dyniowa. Najlepsze, jakie dotąd jadłam w Wietnamie. Troskliwość gospodarzy, którzy upewniali się, czy mamy wszystko, czego potrzebujemy, czy jesteśmy bezpieczne wieczorem poza homestayem i czy nie potrzebujemy transportu do domu. Przyjechałyśmy w środku nocy i bezpłatnie zostałyśmy odebrane z autobusu i dowiezione do homestayu.

Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr zuvorkommend, Mr. Diu hat sich super nett um uns gekümmert und es auch mal zwischendurch möglich gemacht, dass wir eine Suppe gekommen haben. Danke!

A Warning, not a review
Pros:

The first promises that turned out to be false.

Cons:

Do not be fooled by the name "Anne." This establishment is not a guesthouse; it is a cynical operation that abandons guests the moment providing a basic service becomes inconvenient.

The "hospitality" culminated in a shameful dinner fiasco. Isolated with no alternatives, we were presented with an overpriced set menu. When my girlfriend and I selected different sets (as paying individuals), we were initially met with resistance. The owner retreated with an "I'll check with the kitchen," only to return with a cruel and transparent lie: the chef suddenly had a child rushed to the hospital.

Their solution for their two hungry, stranded guests? We were told to walk to town—a one-hour round trip in the middle of the night after having hiked over 20km that day. No alternative was offered—not a simple fruit plate, not a drop-off to town, nothing. This was them effectively kicking us out without food because preparing two different plates was too much effort. In a remote area, this is not poor service; it is heartless and dangerous neglect.

The blatant favoritism made it worse. Other Vietnamese guests at the same time were treated with more respect, given more choice in food, and even had better seating arrangements near their rooms. We, however, were treated like a burden.

The accommodation itself is a health hazard and a joke:

· Filthy: Mold in the bathroom and dead insects smeared on the walls.
· Uninhabitable: The room is freezing due to massive gaps between the roof, walls, and glass doors. The heater is useless.
· Primitive Amenities: The "shower" is literally open to the outdoors—just a curtain where a fourth wall should be. The hot water lasts only a few minutes before failing.
· Zero Rest: Cheap beds, no soundproofing (subject to loud noise from other guests and construction machinery at all hours), and staff with unfriendly, dismissive demeanors.

Communication is impossible.

Pros:

The lovely setting, the well equipped bungalows and the friendly staff.

Cons:

As the bathroom is not isolated and does not have heating, it can be quite uncomfortable to have a shower if it's cold outside. While the property is quiet, the bungalows are not soundproof so I was a bit disturbed by various noises (dogs, loudspeaker) coming from the surroundings in the early morning.

Pros:

This place is really made with taste. Bungalows are really big, there is a separate space in the bathroom to take a shower (which is quite rare in many places in the region), beds are comfortable (with heated duvet if you like) and the surroundings is beautiful - many flowers and trees outside plus spectacular mountain view. On top, you get really friendly staff and tasty breakfast, all at super affordable price. Bac Ha itself was one of our favour spots in Vietnam and this place was part of that experience.

Cons:

La salle de bains et la salle de restaurant sont ouvertes aussi il y fait froid. Ce doit être agréable quand les températures sont élevées
