FAKE LISTING. BOOK DIRECTLY WITH GIMACA NOT HERE.

THE ACTUAL GIMACA HOTEL IS A DECENT PLACE TO STAY. THIS REVIEW IS DIRECTED AT REDDOORZ AND THIS SPECIFIC FALSE LISTING.

Cons:

This is not a reflection on the actual Gimaca hotel. THIS IS A REFLECTION ON REDDOORZ AND THIS LISTING. This listing is TOTALLY WRONG! Our stay was modified and relocated to RedDoorz Zobel WITHOUT US KNOWING. If not for me persistently trying to call and contact the property we would have NO IDEA as Booking.com did not alert us either. WE ONLY FOUND OUT THE DAY BEFORE BECAUSE I ASKED. The owner of this listing does not respond through this platform and the RedDoorz number does not work. I only found out by PM-ing Gimaca's FB page that they are NOT affiliated with RedDoorz anymore and if we should book it should be directly with them via phone or FB. RedDoorz customer service also only answered when I asked over email, again THE DAY BEFORE. My partner and I decided not to stay at the Zobel location because it was a sketchy neighborhood and not even along a main road. We booked DIRECTLY with Gimaca instead on FB and paid their fees on top of what we paid on Booking to RedDoorz. This is non refundable so don't bother booking here. BOOK ON FB OR CALL THE ACTUAL HOTEL. DON'T USE THIS!!!

Pros:

Super sulit for its price. Staffs are great. Great food sa cafe.

Cons:

CR exhaust windows face the hallway, and at times, unpleasant odors would spread, which made passing through uncomfortable. Plus we found used towels/bedsheets pa from previous guests in our room upon check-in. We had to call room service to have them replaced, which was a bit inconvenient, especially since we were staying on the 4th floor with no elevator (telephone not working).

Great place!
Pros:

Everything was great. From the staff, the room, the restaurant, the associated convenience store a few doors down, we were very happy.

Cons:

The hot shower could have gotten hotter.
