ik had gevraagd voor een verrassing voor mijn vrouw omdat we 40 jaar samen waren .en dat hadden ze netjes gedaan .top bedankt ook bij het eten in hun restaurant

You could not wish for a better hotel - just love it the staff etc. Perfect!!!
Pros:

Location is perfect as steps away from centre of town. Breakfast was amazing apart from the hot food was not really hot enough. We requested parking and were given reserved parking in front of hotel which alleviated stress of worrying about parking in public parking carpark opposite hotel. Have stayed here before and hotel is so very professional with staff cleanliness etc that I never have any doubt that this is the perfect hotel for our stay. The history and architecture gives this hotel the perfect ambience. You cannot fault this hotel in any way - all the staff are very friendly and love to chat in English - guests are also so friendly. Just feel at home here.

Cons:

There is nothing that can be improved on as it is perfect!

A truly beautiful and peaceful hotel with an elegant and relaxing atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and professional. The service was excellent, and the location was perfect and very quiet. I really enjoyed my stay and felt completely comfortable throughout my visit. The hotel exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely love to stay here again.

Cons:

There was absolutely nothing I disliked. Everything was wonderful, and I had a fantastic experience.

Pros:

Die Lage ist sehr zentral und ein Parkhaus liegt genau gegenüber, was äusserst praktisch ist. Schon wenn man durch den Eingangsbogen läuft fühlt man sich prächtig, der Innenhof ist wunderschön mit Kopfsteinpflaster, der Brunnen plätschert. Das gesamte Haus ist aufwändig und geschmackvoll restauriert, die Tagungssääle atmosphärisch, der Wellnessbereich toll, das Abendessen als auch Frühstück super gut! Das Personal grüsst stets und überall und ist sehr hilfsbereich!

Cons:

Mir fällt offengestanden nichts ein. Höchstens: Die Damen bitte Vorsicht mit Stilettos auf dem Kopfsteinpflaster ;)

Hervorragender Service und herzliche Gastfreundschaft!
Pros:

Wiederum hat mein Aufenthalt in der Engelsburg meine Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen. Außergewöhnlich freundliche und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter, komfortable gepflegte Zimmer, hervorragende Küche und ein Frühstück, das bzgl. Auswahl und Qualität absolut überzeugt hat. Klare Empfehlung!

Gepflegter Aufenthalt in guter und doch ruhiger Innenstadtlage
Pros:

Die ruhigen Zimmer sind perfekt renoviert, grosszügig geschnitten. Die Bäder ebenfalls sehr ansprechend.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war unterer mittlerer Durchschnitt und überhaupt nicht entsprechend dem schmackhaften Abendessen vom Abend zuvor. Rührei sichtlich aus Eipulver (dabei sollte man am Tor zum Münsterland, Rührei aus frischen Eiern erwarten). Den Wurstwaren fehlte ebenfalls jegliche "Hausmachernote". Die Säfte auch eher Industrieware und total süss. Brotauswahl okay, aber der einzige Kuchen am Sonntagmorgen schmeckte leider nur wie Fertigschokoplattenkuchen vom Fliessband.
