20.000 Baht (ca.500€) aus geschlossenem Hoteltresor gestohlen

Uns sind 20.000 Baht aus dem geschlossenen Hoteltresor gestohlen worden. Meine Frau stand eines Morgens ( zwei Tage vor unserem Abflug) vor mir und sagte, das Geld fehlte. Wir wussten beide die genaue Summe, da wir akribisch darauf geachtet haben, weil wir noch Urlaubsgeld für unser darauf folgendes Flugziel brauchten. Wir haben es sofort dem Hotel gemeldet und sind mit der Chefin des Housekeepings (und der Hotelmanagerin) zur Polizeiwache gefahren um dort Anzeige zu erstatten, damit wir die Überwachungskameras einsehen können.

Wir bestanden darauf, dass uns ein Polizist begleitet und eine Sicherung der Kameraaufzeichnungen macht. Der Polizist hatte uns mit Gestik und Mimik zu verstehen gegeben, dass er nicht gerade Lust auf diese Untersuchung hatte. Interessanterweise hat während des gesamten Prozesses ein reger Nachrichtenaustausch zwischen der Chefin des Housekeepings und des Personals im Hotel gegeben, dass heißt, Sie hat den ganzen zeitlichen Ablauf auf der Wache mitbekommen.

Als wir von der Wache zurückkamen, saß ein "Sicherheitsmann" im Serverraum mit den Überwachungskameras. Der Polizist hat gute zwei Stunden versucht das Beweismaterial zu sicheren und hat sich dann plötzlich mit den Worten: "Sie können sich jetzt alles ansehen, das wird sehr lange dauern" verabschiedet. Ich habe mir alles angesehen und dann festgestellt, dass der betreffende Zeitraum nicht mehr existierte. Ich fragte, wo das Videomaterial ist, darauf hieß es nur, es gab ein "Stromausfall". Welch ein Zufall. Wir behaarten dann auf das Videomaterial und sind an der Rezeption damit vertröstet worden, dass ein Backup erstellt werden sollte. Natürlich haben Sie es nicht geschafft, innerhalb von 48 Stunden.

Das Schlimmste daran war, dass die Hotelmitarbeiter und Managerin nicht im geringsten uns unterstützt haben, sondern sich alles sehr nach "Vertuschung" anfühlte.

Das Housekeeping-Personal war nett, auch wenn Sie teilweise unser Hotelzimmer nicht richtig gereinigt haben.

Cons:

Kommt es zu Problemen, wie z.B. es stiehlt jemand Geld aus dem geschlossenen Tresor, wird einem nicht geholfen. Es werden keine Anstrengungen bemüht, einem in dieser Situation zu helfen. Im Gegenteil, man bekommt eher das Gefühl, das etwas vertuscht werden soll. Wir können nichts beweisen und deshalb auch niemanden beschuldigen, da die Überwachungskameras rein zufällig in dem möglichen Zeitraum "ausgefallen" sind.

Definitely worth every penny amazing hotel

My only grip was the water pressure and the temperature of the water was slightly cooler than I am used to but then I realise there’s a little dial that you can play around with that makes the water warm

We do not recommend this hotel! We didn't enjoy our stay at this hotel. The room was dirty when we checked in: dirty bed linens, mold in the bathtub, and the balcony was incredibly dirty, as if it had never been cleaned. Cleaning was extremely poor; afterward, the floor was still covered in dirt and hair. There was no hot water in the shower; there was a water heater, so we were constantly showering in near-cold water. The exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work well, and it was very damp and dark. The room was very dark, and the air conditioner was old and noisy, and it didn't work very well. The pool was very cold.

נחמד מאוד, שירות טוב. חדר מרווח מאוד ומיטות נוחות. נקי. אזור שקט, קרוב מאוד למרכז, התניידנו עם רכב אז הכל הרגיש קרוב ומספיק רחוק מהרעש וההמולה.

Cons:

בצ'ק-אווט היה איזה עניין של חוסר יעילות של הצוות שעיכב אותנו. ארוחת הבוקר סבירה מינוס במקום לא מאוורר מספיק.
