Enjoyable stay at Abbey Fields
Pros:

Location, room, and breakfast were all good, staff very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

The stairs to my room were very narrow and small. Difficult to climb for seniors. The bathroom was clean but scruffy in places, needing paint. The shower was very weak.

We thoroughly enjoy it and brought friends to stay there too this year. We are back agsin in May so will Contact thd hot
Pros:

The restaurant is lovely, rooms are beautifully decorated and it’s always nice and clean and looked after.

Cons:

We have stayed here for two years now when my daughter competes, last year our room was excellent. This weekend we were in room 5, it was at the front of the property so it got very noisy when the pub shuts so was hard to sleep. The extractor on the bathroom was so noisy I had to turn it off while we weren’t using the shower. When flushing the toilet it made a very loud noise and woke my daughter up at night. The plug in the sink didn’t hold the water do when washing my face the water was gone by the time I needed it.
