Top Star Saariselkä - Arctic Glass Cubes

Could not control the AC, which caused a suffocating atmosphere. 27C outside. Inside 32C. Why is the reception placed at a location that was difficult to find several jm away from rhe cabin. The doorcode could have been sent by email!

Overcast cold think clouds just waste of my splurge of this glass doom room for Northern Light viewing which was none, needless to say 😁, BUT, TB Fair, it's none of Top Star Saariselka 's bargain with me😁; it's the nature in disagreement with my desire, haha

The surroundings, a spectacular snow view, on the other hand, kinda hard to park on the jarred snow ice around, & the ground is pretty slippery. Probably it's not easy to maintain in the mountain/hilly area. A few times, I slipped, but managed not to fall down. All in all, it's a great place. Response quick concise👍👍👍

Service could be better

All the other warmers we had were able to hold a lot. These shelves were really sensitive. They didn't hold much when drying things.

for this price category it would be great to see

a) the lock at the door to properly work
b) sauna does not go beyond 70 degrees

The only downside was the shower—it’s designed in a way that causes the entire bathroom to flood every time you use it. It’s not a dealbreaker, but it can be a bit inconvenient. I’d also recommend carefully checking which cabin you book, as not all have the best views. We booked two cabins, allowing one couple to enjoy a beautiful view while the other ended up with a view of the back of another cabin.

Couldn’t fault the property just a shame it rained during our stay which meant we were unable to see the aurora from the cabin.

No thing

The staff communication was near zero. We could not enter the house for 20 minutes, we had to ask other guests staying nearby for help. They also replied late for our questions. Um

They advertise coffee machine etc but do not state that it’s basically a self contained cabin, I reached out because there was only a used jar of instant coffee and was told I had to buy my own for the machine.

Electric beds so you can raise up to see through the glass windows/roof but one didn’t work, they promised to send someone to look at it but no one came.

Instructions for entry was the below vague text which I thought was spam and almost deleted :

Worst of all on the day of checkout - 1 hour before checkout there were people arriving at the door for their stay, with access to the code and key box unlocking & opening our door.
The accomodation has the key permanently in the key box with an extending cord to reach the door to unlock it so there is no way to bring the key in.
Messaged the accommodation immediately and they did not rectify or apologise

Lacking communication, I messaged through booking several days before arriving to request information on breakfast, airport transfers and activities as their booking states to do so but they never responded to me
