Rude reception and no WiFi - missing rhe basics

Two things. First, it is fairly basic stuff that those on reception at least welcome the guest - in my case, the bloke on reception hardly looked at me, said not a word and had he had the ability to throw the card at me, I am sure he would have done so. This trip has involved stays at 5, maybe 6 hotels, the length and breadth of France and this chap wins the award for the most off hand and rude reception. Can I suggest he goes to the local Hotel Olympique, a much cheaper hotel but with staff who could give him some training on how to greet a customer?

Secondly, the free WiFi needed my details to be 'validated by reception" for internet- this was hardly something I was going to do at 10:30pm, with a motel type.experience that required me to walk outside,band such a rude receptionist. It's not rocket science - just provide an easily accessible working WiFi.

Comfortable. It was in a good position and allowed me to relax
Pros:

The breakfast was fresh, tasty and rich in options. The room was clean, with a water boiler and free infusions. The staff was kind and professional and the location of the structure near the highway allowed easy mobility for job purposes.

Cons:

The room was poorly illuminated even by artificial light. There was no safe box available to store valuable objects while going out. The soap in my bathroom had not been properly refilled prior to my arrival.

Chambre nickel mais les "à cotés" sont à améliorer.

Possibilité de prendre le repas du soir sur place au restaurant.

Cons:

Problème avec ma carte d'accès à ma chambre : la carte ne fonctionnait pas. Votre salarié à l'accueil a du m'ouvrir la porte avec une clef, du coup impossible de sortir le soir.
Concernant le petit déjeuner, essentiellement sucré, produits salés très restreints (oeufs à cuire, jambon et fromage). Pas de plats chauds salés (ex. oeufs brouillés, saucisses, bacon, etc.).
Repas du soir : choix porté sur la formule 1 plat, à plus de 16 Euros - Tarif excessif au vu du plat proposé.
