Incredible views - the best we had seen in our 3 weeks around the lake. The family are so lovely. Breakfast was amazing each day. Room was spacious and comfortable. Price was reasonable too.

Me quedé dos noches en casa de Juanita y su familia y disfruté mucho. Tienes tu espacio privado con cama, wifi, baño y ducha con agua caliente y tu propia terraza con vistas relajantes y espectaculares sobre los volcanos. Lo mejor: Estàs en pleno pueblo, la gente muy amable y hay unos restaurantes muy buenos. Para llegar hay q subir bastante pero siempre hay tuk tuk que te pueden llevar si tienes maleta.

The property is located on the upper slope of the mountain. It was a great workout walking there from the ferry dock 🙂, although you can also take a tuk-tuk. The owner couple were very kind and helpful. She assisted us in booking a shuttle bus from Panajachel to Chichicastenango for the next morning. The room is big and clean. The breakfast was generous and satisfying.

Une des plus belles vues du lac Atitlan. Sur les hauteurs de santa Cruz, j'ai pu faire des photos des volcans. La famille nous a très bien accueilli. Ils sont très serviables. Un excellent petit déjeuner. Merci à vous pour cet agréable séjour.

Great experience to stay with local family, fantastic breakfast with lake view, and really appreciate for helping bought a local Mayan cloth!

Very clean room and facilities. It is a duplex, so you share the building (kitchen + bathroom) with another guest.

If you are interested in a party atmosphere, this posada is not for you. But if you want to stay in a lovely room with a warm host, it's a good choice.

I loved the location. This was my favorite town in Guatemala. The people were extremely friendly and the views were spectacular.

To be clear, the photos & reviews combine two separate accommodations. There is a lovely large room in Juanita's home, and a few mins away, a separate small apt with 2 private rooms and a shared kitchen & bath. . We stayed in the latter. Convenient & clean, and included a lovely breakfast served each morning. Juanita was helpful & sweet.
