The location, the charm, the pool all fabulous.
The reception area isn’t very impressive, we had ants in our bath on our last morning. The plug in the sink wouldn’t come out and we couldn’t use the sink on the last day. The safe malfunctioned and had to have an engineer attend. He couldn’t fix the sink unfortunately. The main issue was that outside our bedroom there was a lot of noise as staff prepared for breakfast. I was awake at 5am and didn’t get back to sleep. I did complain and it was sorted for the next day and very little noise experienced.

Old fashion hotel with modern amenities. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet in charming surroundings.
The location was great. The roof top terrace was a beautiful place to sit and have a drink. The balconies on the rooms (we had a superior room advertised without a sea view, but still had a bit of a see view!) were a great sun trap in the afternoon, and the swimming pool was lovely for a refreshing swim - heated, a great to a lovely temperature.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful
Lunch service in the restaurant was quite slow, but we were very hungry as well, so that can always make things seem slower!!
The pool, the roof top terrace and the balconies on the rooms were great sun traps.
Extremely comfortable beds, and the good facilities in the room.
Staff were excellent and very helpful and we managed to get an early check in at 11.30am when we arrived.
