Niets negatiefs.

The hotel is a walk from the busy 'tourist strip' and so it would have been helpful to have a good bar to spend an evening to save tge walk or to retreat for a nightcap before bed. However, the bar staff, of which there were many, were not particularly attentive and at one point when a rucus seemed to occur within the staff, the Manager who had greeted us on arrival and was now sitting having drinks with customers, seemed to tell them off quite publically across us. One of the two evenings we decided to spend at the hotel was valentines night only to find this was packed out with guests from outside the hotel and all the tables were therefore pushed together so we were sharing with another couple who were hotel guests from Germany and unfortunately only one of them spoke english so it was a little uncomfortable at times. It was thoroughly unromantic and the most expensive night we had in Gambia. Just felt this could be a wonderful hotel, but the bar let's it down as it seems to be geared to making money from outside events rather than focusing on being a great bar in itself.

Breakfast very basic. That suited me but might not other guests.

Wifi was not working in the room and not great near reception (worst connection in all of the different cheaper hotels I had been in the Gambia)
TV was not working but staff helped
Light switches far from bed
Plug sockets not conveniently located for phone
No natural light in room
Dining room staff not friendly. It was confusing to understand where to eat: dining room or expensive buffet outside; had to chase to get served.
Average food for dinner (although it was late dinner)
A shuttle to Senegambia/beach would be a nice touch
I expected more for the price I had paid and the existing reviews, I had better experience in cheaper accommodations

The choice on the evening menu could have been more consistent.

Room was not as large as advertised, but plenty large and comfy. Highway is sometimes a bit audible, but to be honest: I slept very well! Powercuts annoy, but the hotel has their own generators, so this was not an issue at all. Not every card works, but this is more like an Africa-problem, as I have experienced it often on the continent. But from that perspective, travelling with cash would be advisable - which I did, so again: No issues.

So, basically nothing is to dislike. :)

The room next to mine had drunkard occupants who were smoking shisha in the balcony next to me, making loud music all night and shouting at the top of their voices. I reported the issue but was not helped. A room for 2 had a gang of 5 people and what was disappointing the hotel management could not control them or remove them. Instead I was being told to move to another room a midst travel exhaustion and work engagement. I had to leave the hotel in protest and chase for payment receipts which I have not received to date save for an invoice. While the hotel refunded the one night to enable me pay for a new room somewhere else which was totally inconveniencing, the failure to manage the incident is inexcusable.

Algo ruidoso. Los empleados o conductores a veces en mitad de la noche se ponen a hablar por teléfono al lado de la habitación. Tuvimos un par de noches malas con mucho ruido de coches y gente hablando. Requiere algo más de mantenimiento teníamos una fuga de agua que nunca se arregló. El desayuno siempre el mismo y varios días en mal estado la fruta.
