A wonderfully relaxing and uplifting stay where I felt fully cared for in every respect
Pros:

Everything.. a safe clean , cosy and comfortable environment with lovely thoughtful facilities and caring staff at hand for every need .
Enjoyable time spent too in empathic conversations with Divye the proprietor at meal times .

Good location and helpful owner
Pros:

This is a nice area to be in. Rock garden, lake, bird park and Capitol complex are all within walking distance. Divye is very helpful with information about places to go. There is a kettle in the hallway to make drinks and also a fridge. Very pleasant to have breakfast in the garden.

Cons:

I enjoyed my stay but I think it could be improved for future guests. The ceiling and paintwork in the room needs to be repaired. It would be good to have a proper table and chairs for breakfast outside rather than a coffee table. I have stayed in many similar guesthouses in India for half this cost and with a bigger breakfast. I know Chandigarh is expensive but the price does seem excessive.

Pros:

The breakfast was fabulous. The location is excellent and close to many landmarks in Chandigarh. The host, Mr Mathur is a kind and friendly person and their dog Yoshi is a lot of fun to hang out with.

Home away from home
Pros:

Very nice house with a lovely garden. Our room was spacious with a terrace and access to all facilities needed including a fridge and kettle. Very clean. Very tasty homemade breakfast. Divye the owner is incredibly kind and generous and goes above and beyond to help with what you need.

A perfect and exceptional stay with the kindest host!
Pros:

This was a perfect stay in a wonderful home with the best host and cook I have ever met! Alka cooked the most delicious food and served meals with love and care! The facilities are excellent and the room is large and comfortable with even has a little kitchen. Despite arriving at midnight Mr Divye Mathur, the owner, was kind and gracious and during my stay provided recommendations for sights to visit. He is very knowledgeable and we shared wonderful conversations in the beautiful garden patio in the company of his little dog Yoshi! The house is perfectly clean and cosy and also close to Sukhna Lake and Rock Garden, which Mr Mathur recommended. As a solo traveller I felt safe and was well-cared for! I highly recommend this stay not only to solo travellers!

Pros:

Great location near to the lake which was perfect for a morning run.
Also walking distance to sector 8 food market area with access to a range of foods and restaurants.
