Great location for small group
Pros:

The location is a nice house, 20 minutes from Santa Elena. We were traveling as a group of 6 (3 couples) and had the place to ourselves but believe there are one or two additional rooms. Aside from your private room with bathroom, you share a kitchen and sitting area. We spent our evenings have dinner, which we cooked in the shared kitchen, hanging around the dinner table and sitting area. It was really lovely. The location is super relaxed with very little traffic, some wild life to spot from the garden, but not completely off the grid. We had hot water in the shower, steady WIFI and even enough cell service to call our stay-at-homes. The host is very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Nothing. At this rate you can not expect Ritz Carlton luxury after all. It is very comfortable and great value for price. The drive over to the location is super nice. A 4x4 is good to have but not a requirement, you can do with a smaller car and park it on site. The location felt safe.

Great hosts and clean accommodations in beautiful location.
Pros:

I liked the accommodations in the rooms and the hosts were so kind. There is a shared kitchen with basic necessities for cooking and each room has a small fridge. There’s also a beautiful patio area that’s great for morning coffee and watching the birds. The surrounding area is very peaceful and beautiful.

Peaceful quiet retreat into nature.
Pros:

I loved the location. The Grand Luna is located in a very peaceful part of the mountains in Monteverde. The hosts are very hospitable and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with great amenities. Great artwork on some of the walls too!

Cons:

The only thing I didn't like is that I couldn't stay longer.
